And since you obviously missed it, here's a link to the article detailing how police have no legal obligation duty to protect ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE and they can't even get written up for not performing "their job"
police not required to protect
A small excerpt...
"In the 1989 landmark case of DeShaney v. Winnebago County Department of Social Services, the U.S. Supreme Court held that the failure by government workers to protect someone (even 4-year-old Joshua DeShaney) from physical violence or harm from another person (his father) did not breach any substantive constitutional duty. The Court found that the government had no affirmative duty to protect any person, even a child, from harm by another person."

So in other words all the times they have helped, which there are many cases, they went above and beyond the call of duty. That’s nice of them to do.

Anonymous #9 said: I care about cops . Some are my friends in fact. They work 40 hours a week dealing with a lot of shit . Rapists , domestic fucks who beat women and thug criminals who like to kill when they can't break the law and get away with it . And worse , fathers who leave their kids in hot cars who die from heat , drug overdosed addicts who they need medicine to save their problematic lives , suicide failures .
Yes I care about cops . I like my drugs , I do them safely and as responsible as I can . I trust a cop to come to my need over a private thug who claims they will when they're probably untrained and unskilled to deal with criminals and are in fact criminals themselves who would cross me if they felt they could benifit from it verses a law that prevents me from being hurt.
Cops get it bad . People only care about them when they need them , then complain when they dont show up.
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT!?!
Look, not all cops are "bad" but do you have a fucking clue how many "not bad" cops is takes to cover for all the SUPER shitty ones? Way too fuckin many, that's how many!
Even the drug team cops here steal drugs, assume what you want about what they did with them, but when I got raided, almost none of the finished product ended up on the police report and only half of the plants were listed...hmmmm, I wonder where they went?
Ever hear about 1 bad apple spoiling the barrel? It's a saying for a reason
Ever hear this new one: "If cops didn't do bad things, people would trust them. Seriously, no one ever made a song called "Fuck the Fire Department"" If you don't get the reference, check this out - NWA
and this ain't the fuckin time to be standing up for cops so FUCK OFF!!!
In all truth though for every 10 really bad cops there is like 1 really good cop. It definitely takes a serious number of good cops to cover for all the bad cops. But out of the 800,000 piece of shit cops in this country 80,000 are genuinely good hearted will show up to take a bullet to save your life good cops and the bad cops make them look really really really bad which sucks. That is a shit job all around. If you give a fuck at all about your job as a cop your job is basically taking a bullet from perps on the street while simultaneously getting framed like Serpico by all the corrupt piece of shit cops who give you no respect for not fitting into their harassment pick and choose system of profiling who gets pulled out of their car and gets their ass beat and goes to jail today system. Major bummer.

You're completely kidding yourself. The function of police isn't to stop or prevent crimes. It is to act as judge, jury, and sometimes executioner after the crime is already committed. Laws and harsh punishments have been shown to do nothing to affect things like murder rates.

I totally need to do that. I am sorry for my mistake. When I get life together I will return and we can discuss this appropriately when I have the facts in order.
