Basically I have 3 B+ bags and one BHT I'm planning on spawning to bulk, potentially i may have to combine some to maximise bulk and space economy and i forgot to label which was BHT -does it matter? Do they eat each other or something?

Ime, when I’ve mixed varieties of cubes I still get fruits but not as many as if I fruit the varieties by themselves. There is a “strain crossing” thread here that someone suggested I mix two varieties of cubes as a way to crossbreed. I will be trying that but if you want a good flush I’d keep the varieties separate. But it’s really up to you and what you want to do. Experimenting is always fun. Good luck! Hope this helps a little.
Also, I’ve actually put spawn from one variety on one side of the tub (with a cardboard spacer in the middle) and another variety on the other side. I put black liner in each side to keep the mycelium separate and gently removed the cardboard right after spawning. I wish I still had the pics to show you. But yea, just a thought. Good luck!✌️✌️✌️🦾

No, they dont eat each other.
But what u will see is a mix of different strains growing, which is pretty cool to see, especially if u have a light colored strain such as African Transkei or PE and a darker colored one such as Mazatepeca or Burma.

Varieties damn it not strains.
For the most part if you mix cube VARIETIES nothing happens expect you grow cubes.
They dont fight or compete because it's the same mushroom.

Lol agreed. OP I forgot to mention that. The “strain” is cubensis, the “variety” is b+ or bht (gt, pe, etc)
But I have noticed when I mixed varieties they didn’t perform as well as my tubs with one variety in them. This could’ve just been how it happened for me.

Strain and variety are the same thing. Species and strain are different thou. Like Amanita Muscaria has multiple varieties but if u could cultivate them, they would be called strains.
