Maximizing yield in 54qt tubs 1

I have done one monotub successfully before and wanted to try again on a bigger scale. I'm using Bod's Unmodified tek, but wanted to maximize the yield if that is even possible with it being as optimized as it is. I planned on using 8-9 quarts of spawn, 1 brick of coir, and 2 quarts of verm.
Would this be pointless or would it produce a higher yield in the same tub space? I have 4 54qt tubs so doing it with Bod's recipe (7 quarts of spawn, 1 brick of coir) and testing these other measurements at the same time is an option. But, I would hate to waste time and good spawn if it isn't going to yield more or cause problems with that much spawn. I've done some digging and haven't found much info on using 8+ quarts of spawn in one monotub, so maybe it is just a bad idea.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

4 or 5 is all u need for a tub that size. Just make 2 tubs with 8 or 9 quarts instead, you won’t be disappointed

I generally do 6 qts max per 60 qt tub. Ive recently been playing around with 110 qt tubs and 4ftx4ft trays. The more surface area = more yield.

What they said
For 54 qt i typically do 4-5lb spawn per tub. 66qt ill use 4-6lb tops
Dial in your conditions and get good genetics isolated or cloned at least. But really even wigh ms you can get killer yields
Beyond that, more spawn isnt really gonna help, its more about pinset, fruitsize, water content, etc.. ive pulled as much as 3495g wet in one flush off a 66qt tub w less than 5qt spawn
Make 2 tubs w 4qt rather than 1 w 8qt, yields will probably be 2x as much

Would the verm serve a purpose or should I go coir only unless I’m using extra spawn? I’m getting mixed responses about the amount of spawn to use as well. I know 1 brick of coir makes about 8 quarts so using extra spawn isn’t an option without adding verm to the substrate.

Doesnt really matter. I for a 54qt i usually use 1 brick coir, 4-5 qt spawn, and optionally 2qt verm. Using or not using verm doesnt really matter. If verm is cheaper than coir for you, use it, if not dont

I’ve found that I get the same yield per quart of spawn no matter what, it’s just a matter of how many flushes it takes.
Using 9 quarts in a mono would end up yielding the same as 4.5 in two monos, only the 9 quart tub will have much bigger second/third/fourth flushes while it uses up the spawn.
With shoeboxes 600g wet per quart seems to be around the max, whether it’s one massive flush or three medium ones. My favorite shoebox clones so far have put out 500+ first flush and then a small second flush and they’re done. The first time I ran them I thought I was gonna have insane yields cuz If the first flush is 500 the second should be at least 300 based on other tubs flush sizes. But no it just put out 90% of the mushrooms all at once.
