Bacterial tubs

Hey guys.
I've recently changed my pasteurization time because I got some coir with natural trich in it. Before I gave it 2 hours in my dehydrator and this time I gave it 5 hours.
I let the temp get to 65 celcius and sat the timer for two hours. The result what tubs looking like this for 6 of the tubs.

I did however find that my bag cooking was to short. I've been PC'ing for 1,5 hours at 15 psi when doing 4x 2kg grain bags. But still I've never seen a tub doing this. Although my first flush has never been very rewarding. Second flush I manage to get about 22 grams dried per jar (approx 5,7 jars in one bag)
The other five tubs im running right now is laughing in my face and gives me this as a first flush.. This coir got about 4 hours in the dehydrator

Note that the coir are in the dehydrator in sealed bags so the moisture level should not have changed after pasteurization.
What brands of coir can I get without trich and fertilizer? I can't seem to find anything that's affordable without those two.

I’ve never heard of putting coir in the dehydrator after pasteurizing. All coir has trich in it, what’s important is if your spawn is healthy enough to fight it off. I think your bacterial spawn is the problem more than the coir.

You’re making it too wet based on the way the mushrooms look.
I’ve used four brands of coir never had a problem. Hydrocrunch is my favorite so far.

I'm not putting it in the dehydrator after pasteurization. I'm doing the pasteurization in the dehydrator.
The brand i've used i CocoStar. This one.

Could very well be. I did think that the coir was a little wet when i loadet it acutally. How do you see that from the mushrooms?

I can’t imagine any reason I would want to try and pasteurize hydrated coir in a dehydrator. It would never have occurred to me.

Because it was easy to use as an oven and it fits 6 tubs worth of bags.

The bucket tek is great. No idea why anyone would use anything else to prepare coir and verm.

Well the bucket tek it is! And a longer sterilization time.
Could bacteria be on my petridishes without showing? Under the myc?
Just wondering if there's any other part of the process I should be aware of. I do use a flow hood and the NTC's are always blank.

Bacteria can sneak around under a culture, examine plates closely. Also insufficient sterilization of the agar can sometimes cause bacteria to bloom underneath the agar puck. Be sure it’s not hiding on the bottom of the plate as well.
However in saying that, bacteria is usually pretty fast on a plate (slower than it is in liquid but can still move quick enough compared to most fungi) so you should be able to eventually spot it if it’s riding along. Use a flashlight to inspect plates, use blank media as control, etc.

I'm sterilize for 15 min at 15 psi when doing 300-400 ml of agar solution at the moment. Although I did give the last batch 30 min instead of 15. It did make the agar darker though.
So far I haven't seen any colonies on the plates for a long time. Blank or inoculated.
I guess my biggest problem has been the improper sterilization of my jars/bags. And the 5 hours of heating the substrate in the dehydrator was not a good idea.
