Some of you may know the effects of grounding ourselves to earth, also known as "earthing".. walking barefoot etc.. Here's a little read about it: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/241219438_The_effect_of_Earthing_grounding_on_human_physiology#:~:text=Previous%20research%20(12)%20showed%20that,sleep%20dysfunction%2C%20pain%20and%20stress.
I was wondering about the effects on monotubs if one run a wire from earth ground to the substrate..

I'm not sure you're gonna find anyone with a good answer for you bro. Chin up though, these are the perfect kind of experiments for self quarantine and a substantial bag of K

Corrosion would probably be the only measurable effect

Its supposed to explain what exactly?
Wanted to talk about energy, connection to earth, etc.. controversial a bit but worth a discussion.. end up talking about quarantine, ketamine, rust and birds... Im off to sleep

Didn't mean to offend. My apologies.
To be fair I just actually read the link instead of skimming it like I did when you posted it. Far out and interesting.

Idk the validity of any of this stuff but I have always had an instinctual dislike of shoes. I never really wore them when I didn’t have to up until my 20s. I’d walk everywhere barefoot all the time. My mom hated it.
Does bare feet on concrete count or is it only dirt?
Whether it tunes your body or not, I’m 100% team dirty hippy feet.

It seems like it would be good to be connected to the ultimate source of life on earth. You know, the earth itself. Most of us take for granted the complex, living breathing, pulsing thing that the earth is. It's not just an inert rock under our feet.
Billions of years of evolution have forged an intimate relationship between us(whoever us might be) and our mother. Babies benefit from skin contact with their mothers too.
Yo, I'm high as fuck

Considering tub grows outperform nature by a orders of magnitude I would only assume earth grounding would lower performance if it was capable of doing anything at all. Which it doesn't do anything at all

Yes but maybe the mushrooms will feel reduced stress about the impending mass murder “harvest.” It’s worth exploring.

Gentleman, if we allow these mushrooms to become "grounded", I fear we will soon face a revolution.

My outdoor grows always went real well. Super bacterial spawn, nice spawn, moldy spawn, to untreated hpoo...mushroom explosion. There’s definitely something magical about the earf. If you bury someone in it they basically disappear.
I just skimmed that link as well but I’ll read some more later. Young me was always barefoot and loved it, even in the winter for as long as I could get away with it. It makes sense it could effect us since we’re a crazy chemical and electrical creature. I don’t think it would really do much for a tub indoors but wtf do I know about electricity

My one year old walks around barefoot all day and she’s a total asshole. I will try wrapping a wire around her and tethering the other end in dirt to see if it changes her attitude.

If you bury someone they don't disappear. They turn into someone else. Eventually.

Alright op, so they measured changes in electrical activity, no surprise I guess. Were these changes maintained though through grounding? Whatever it may be, it certainly feels good to walk on bare feet some times, or sit on the ground.
