On a log North Queensland
    #26752262 - 06/17/20 05:27 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Habitat:
Low lying wetlands, by a river bank. I found them on a decaying fallen tree that was very wet. The river bank was mostly wooded area and mangroves however there was a forest canopy above.

Gills:
Orange/yellow

Stem:
Up to 4cm in length,8mm diameter, faded orange/brown, plastic texture, looks to be hollow.

Cap:
Upto 6cm Diameter, orange rim that fades towards the centre, soft texture, concave.

Spore print color:
Bronze/orange

Bruising:
No brusing

These vary in age and I'm not sure if they are too old to use(if they are useful!)

Gymnopilus, might be active, let’s wait for someone from your area to weigh in

I've spotted blue-green bruising on those specimens so I'd imagine it's active, though they look kind of fucked. That spongey-looking interior flesh is usually a sign of an insect infestation
