I'm fiercely anti racist and that is utter bullshit and a cowardly cop-out of the highest order.

It is often said by black people when being confronted with having said or done something blisteringly racist.

Its just stupid.

If a white guy looks down his nose at a black guy its racist but if a black guy drags a white guy behind a truck because he's white, its not racist? get outta here.

Yeah there's racists within every ethnicity on earth. And since the beginning of time. No one race has a monopoly on racism.

Well, the economic discrepancy between the working class based on racial categories really isn't there, but obviously The Elite use the MSM and political system to instill the perception that it's very large and it's based on racial discrimination.

Hasn't this been going on for decades - stoking people into an angry frenzy? Isn't what we see right now a result of a mountain of cumulative messages such as this? Over and over I hear black people say they are afraid of going about their daily business for fear of being killed by a white. Of course the chances of a black man being killed by a white is much much less than a black man being killed by a black - but many people want to ignore that fact.

You must be hanging out with a fun crowd if that's what people around you are saying. Or you're just putting too much stock in what you see on TV or twitter.

The reality is that the murder is just a small part of the problem, systemic racism is pretty much the foundation of the american law enforcement and justice industry. They don't have to kill you to ruin you.

Are you denying the high rate of black on black violence? I know it's a topic that makes some uncomfortable.

A black person told me today, "Black people cannot be racist". I told her I was once assaulted by a black man I didn't know on the street. As the guy punched me in the face, he called me "White Boy". She insisted his behavior was not racist. Until we have the courage to deal with the issue honestly, including racism by blacks, the hatred will continue to grow.

No, I'm not denying anything, my post was pretty straightforward.

Ever consider that a whole lot of the violence might be a product of the situation that inequality has created? That's pretty consistent across races, black people have just been statistically more likely to experience it. The playing field will continue to be leveled as the middle class continues to crumble.

A black person told me today: "RJ Tubs is probably making up these strange conversations he says he has with black people that just so happen to support his narrative."

Fucking sad. They do that to corporate white people and all colors/sexes too. Capitalism and corps pretty much fuck every single person out of everything they can.

NDP (Leftist opposition party) leader in Canadian parliament attempts to introduce a motion to recognize systemic racism in federal policing
gets kicked out for the day after calling another MP racist for being the only person who refused to support the motion

Quote:

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has been expelled from the House of Commons for calling a Bloc Québécois MP racist and for refusing to apologize and withdraw his comments.

Speaker Anthony Rota kicked Singh out for the rest of the day after Singh called Alain Therrien racist for refusing to support an NDP motion dealing with systemic racism in the RCMP.

Singh tried to get all parties in the House of Commons to agree to a motion recognizing the existence of systemic racism in the RCMP. The motion points out that "several Indigenous people have died at the hands of the RCMP in recent months …"

The motion also asked MPs to support a review of the RCMP's budget, to demand that the RCMP release all of its use-of-force reports and to call for a review of the RCMP's tactics for dealing with the public.

Therrien was the only MP in the House who refused to support the motion — prompting Singh to call the Bloc MP a racist.

"It was this brazen act of one MP to not just say no but to say no loudly and to kind of gesture like this," Singh said later, waving his hand like someone trying to brush off a fly.

"In that gesture, I saw exactly what has happened for so long. People see racism as not a big deal, see systemic racism and the killing of Indigenous people as not a big deal, see Black people being the subject of violence and being killed as not a big deal, and in the moment I saw the face of racism.

"That's what it looks like when someone dismisses the reality that people are going through. And so I had a moment of anger in seeing that."

Moments after Singh made his remarks in the House of Commons, Bloc Whip Claude DeBellefeuille stood up to express her disapproval.

"I do not believe that a leader of a party can, here, treat another member of this House, call them racist because we don't approve the motion that was just moved. The NDP unabashedly is treating the member of La Prairie as a racist person and this is unacceptable in this House," DeBellefeuille said in defence of her colleague.

Quote:

Singh stands by his words

Deputy Speaker Carol Hughes responded by saying that she would review the record because she did not hear Singh when he stood up and said, "It's true, I called him a racist and I believe that's so."

Singh was asked by Hughes to apologize. "I will not," he replied.

The matter was referred to Speaker Rota, who returned to the House and ordered Singh to leave the Commons for the remainder of the day.

At a press conference later in the day, Singh was asked if he would repeat his allegation against Therrien outside the House of Commons, where he is not protected by parliamentary privilege.

"Yes. I've said it really clearly. I repeat it really clearly," Singh said. "Anyone who votes against a motion that recognizes the systemic racism in the RCMP and that calls for basic fixes for the problem … is a racist, yes."

The Bloc Québécois issued a statement later in the day saying that "discrimination against Indigenous communities and cultural minorities is a major issue" but the public safety committee is currently studying systemic racism in the RCMP and it should be allowed to do its work.

"We consider it inappropriate to impose findings to a committee before it has conducted its study. We respect the parliamentary process," DeBellefeuille said in French.

"The NDP leader defamed the parliamentary leader of the Bloc Québécois with an unwarranted insult … He should apologize immediately."

It's usually pretty safe to call others that you disagree with you racist even when it's unjustifiable, that's why so many do it with a high degree of confidence.

White people that are terrified of being accused of being racist themselves, sometimes feel the best method is to accuse other whites of racism to fight off any future accusations. It's an obvious sign of mental psychosis.

Knew that you would immediately respond with something about how the real danger is being called a racist
because you will lose your job and have your life destroyed with no proof
after a politician was ejected for the day for calling another politician a racist

and you really did a number

Jagmeet Singh is Canada's first Sikh leader of a political party, he was not a white guy calling another white guy racist

So you bring in a massive exception to the rule with this case and now your point is what exactly?  That there's always been serious ramifications for falsely accusing others of violating PC rules?  I don't think so.

Also, I was speaking in generalities and not to the specifics of the case you illustrated above.

No, am recognizing that your perception is the exception to the rule
most people get off scott free for actually being racist
most people who are called racist cry about it for a bit then go back to a real normal life

you know, just speaking about generalities now

rather than about my linked specific case that was refering to a politician trying to take steps to respond to the pressures of citizens
and be kicked out of parliament for the day because another politician got butthurt

Regarding Robert Fuller, I know the coroner walked back his suicide ruling, has it been ruled homicide yet? That poor fucking family. Jeezus. Hope they can get an independent autopsy done - especially if it was a coroner(who's an elected official and may not even necessarily have actual medical training) vs a medical examiner.

The claim is he opened fire on the police because he was wanted for a bunch of serious charges.

People get off "scott free" for being racist?  Yes, if it's just their mindset and don't act on it. If they act on it, that's not the case anymore as their reputation/employment is destroyed in a matter of hours from social media.

People are phonies when it comes to race relations. All I see is upper middle class white people demanding equality and the stop to racism. But guess what?  They don't want any minorities living in their 95% all whites communities. Try to present an affordable housing development project in their town and see what happens.  :rofl2:
