Have you ever outrun, outsmarted or outmaneuvered the police? 3

I recall being maybe 20 and coming upon a police road block where they check registration and inspections and probably sniff for weed as well. I was lapsed on my insurance, had no current registration, my license might have even been suspended at that point. As soon as I saw the cop cars I pulled right into someone's driveway and just parked it behind the house for a minute. Knowing I couldn't stay there I drove out to the road and took off the other way.
I saw a cop in my rear view get in his car and it seemed he was on to me. I took a quick turn at the next intersection and started booking it down a side road. I turned into a development just as another cop was passing me with lights on in the opposite direction and I caught a glimpse of the break lights as he was slamming on his breaks to turn around. My heart was racing and I knew I was already fucked. I decided to keep going and so I cruised through the neighborhood and found a driveway with an open garage. Tucked my car in there, shut it off and ducked the fuck down. I saw one cop go by, lights on and clearly looking for me. Lucky for me no one seemed to notice I was in their garage, so after what felt like forever but was probably 10 mins I pulled out and made my way home on back roads.
I felt like a real bad ass, but really it was probably one of my dumber moves that just happened to work out.
how about ya'll?

Wow! That's astonishing.
I never had to do anything like that. Cops just never pay attention to me.

I haven't had any issues with being targeted by police recently. I used to drive some shit boxes though so that always attracts attention.

On my various dirt bikes growing up the cops would try to chase us down and kick us off the roads. It was a rather rural place and ATV's, dirt bikes, tractors, were all very common the roads. But with a dirt bike there was no getting caught, you'd head up into the nearest field and off into the forest. No contest really.

At a friend's house party in my college days the cops showed up (his place was well known to the police) and we scattered like roaches when the lights come on -- there was probably like a half dozen cops and like 20 of us. A handful of us got away. We jumped his backyard fence and were down in the creek. It was at night and you could see their flashlights getting closer but they gave up looking for us. I woulda got arrested because I had an outstanding warrant.
The rest of the group -- like 14 of them got detained and a few got hauled off to jail (for possession or warrants).

When I was a kid smoking weed in public areas, some people stopped my friend and I, like a citizens arrest. They were like "cops are on their way now, you sit right there!" They thought they had us pinned.
I pulled out my phone and started fake talking into the phone like it was some serious shit, I stood up going at it on the phone and just walked a little away from them while babbling nonsense. As as I walked just far enough away I took off running.
Also tricked the cops with a a bag of Salvia, in a Salvia legal state. We's smokin Salvia officer! It worked perfect

I passed a breathalyzer test whilst on LSD
Ow and another good one. Many years ago my friends and I got busted the last day of the year for setting stuff on fire outside with fireworks.
For some reason I took the brass knuckles my brother gave me with me that day. Carrying those is quite a serious offense where I live.
So I managed to slip them into my sleeve whilst in the back of the police car on route to the station.
They take us inside and for about 2 seconds we are alone in a small room.
Well apparently it being newyears and all, the cops had a bunch of "oliebollen" (traditional Dutch food) and there was an empty box lying around. I ninja moved the brass knuckles under the box.
The cops returned and we got frisked and put in the holding cell.
We matched our story to the fires being an accident from the fireworks we were throwing around and after a couple hours they released us
Good times

Once. But nothing next-level.
In highschool me and a few friends ran naked in the street while drunk. The neighbours called the cops. We just jumped the fence of my friend's house, but they came in. I was hidden in bushes. My friends jumped in the pool for some reason.
We just got a verbal warning. And my friend's dad was pissed at us.

Many times. I've used the old, "jump into the woods and lay flat on your stomach and don't fucking move a muscle" technique to great effect a few times. Alas, those days are over. Im currently on the tail end of a 6 year prison bid and it's all straight and narrow for me from here on out.

I for sure have a similar story. Friends mooning cars at night, of course one of them is a state trooper and rolled up on them bare asses and began pursuit. Friends baled into the woods and called us from another friends house in the next development where my friends mom was making them grilled cheeses. We went and picked them up and enjoyed some mom foods.

I've also hidden in thorns. It's all well and good going in but the climb out is a bitch after you've been laying there for an hour and your adrenaline wears off.

LOL. Amazing the shit one can pull of when the adrenaline is pumping when one goes through it again sans adrenaline...

One time when I was still in school my mate stole a couple of starting guns (loud cap vuns for races) and we took them in the park late at night and started firing them. Suddenly we had the attention of every police officer in the whole district. As I walked into this building site just near the park I tucked the gun under a fence railing then suddenly a spotlight was on me. Cops jumped out and started yelling. I scaled a 6ft wall with a ledge then a 6ft fence, cops were to old to be nimble like that. Then I was in someone's yard but the hunt intensified. I ran down the side of the house, across the road, down the side of the next place, scaled the fence, down the side of the house, and so on for a good long while. I could hear cop cars flying around everywhere looking for me. Finally made it out of the suburb and ran along an embankment until I made it to a service station. Called my Mum to come and get me. On the way back home I counted about 20 police vehicles that included response vans and even a fucking helicopter. My mate was sat in my room when I got home. My Mum had seen him come in and go to my room, thought we were both in there. Should have gone the way he went up the hill and straight home and not into that building site.
Another time I got caught with acid by police but they left it within reach of me, the moment his head turned slightly I just reached out and pressed it onto my finger and ate it, he didn't even see me do it. Cop went nuts when I denied it ever existed... Lol. He was such a fucking smug git when he found it as well. Was tripping hard by the time I got ejected out of the cop shop.
So many close ones over the years, though quiet times now. Must be getting old.

Felt pretty awesome when they let me go with a meaningless warning though.
Can't remember what I did that trip, but I remember the mega high and elation walking down the street away from the cop shop.

I picked up some coke one night and me being the stupid fuck I was at the time had to do a key bump while sitting at a stop sign about 2-3am. I go to turn and drop the baggie in my lap! I pull over to the side of the road and begin scooping what I could that fell out (luckily it was rocky and good) and a cop drives right by me and never stopped or shone a light on me! I got back in my car and drove home freaking the fuck out. Made it home safely that night.
Another time: Tripping hard with a couple people and one of them happened to be a sheriffs nephew or something, another guy is a black guy, it's about 2am or so. There's a cooler in the backseat with me with beer, I had a a quarter of weed and 2 warrants for unpaid traffic tickets (I know ). Black dudes old mercedes we're in has a fucking tail light out.
We get pulled over, I'm saying "fuck, I'm going to jail, I got two warrants!" Black dude says real calmly, "no ones going to jail, calm down. We're all tripping (don't trip and drive people!). Cop gets all our id's and asks for the insurance. Black dude has a messy car/glovebox/console. He's looking through papers and shit, me and the other guy are saying, "just take the ticket man, show proof later" etc... he sees some papers and says" ohh, lottery ticket!" I'm fucking freaking in the backseat by the cooler of beer.
Finally he's almost done and says to me, "you, can you step back here please". I had stuffed the quarter of weed between the cushions of the backseat and didn't have any L on me. He says, "you know you have two warrants for tickets" I'm like, "Yeah, I was going to take care of those tomorrow". He lets me go telling me to be sure and take care of them etc...I know it was because that one guy was related to a sheriff.
Later on as we are still driving out to the county where the sheriffs relatives guy lives we get pulled over AGAIN! We say we just got a ticket for no insurance, we're almost home and kind of laughing and saying we know etc...he let's us go and says "go straight home now". It was quite an epic summer night that night. There's more to that story too....
