Left manure in very hot car for 2 weeks, can i still use?
    #26747386 - 06/15/20 07:20 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

So I left my two 40 gallon containers of horse manure in my car. Its hot here in Nevada and the inside of my car reached up to 140-155 degrees for the past 2 weeks. Can I still use my manure or is all the bacteria dead or something?

I see no reason to be worried about using it.

Straight out of the bag at this point! I mean you basically pasteurized it right.

If it got super hot sure: if it topped out at 90, bacteria and competitor molds are having a field day... pasteurization is not a difficult process and would take the guesswork out of it... moisture content is going to play a huge role here as well

We hit 101 in Texas this week so the average temps of a car were good enough to sterilize your face mask and kill covid. Probably 140-170. If Nevada is anywhere close I'm sure the baddies got dehydrated and killed. Low humidity and all.

But caps, I agree it depends on the water content and over all temps.

Op you should still Pasteurize your shit before use. I was just being funny when I said straight out of the bag.
