do you get a good dose of vitamin c from pine if you just put the needles in a cup and pour boiling water over it, or do you have to simmer it for a while on the stove, cause I have just been putting it in a cup with a green tea bag and pouring boiling water over it, I kinda like it, but I dont know if I am getting much vitamin c from it

If you make an infusion, you will get a better, more potent extraction. Infusions are like super-teas.

In my area there is a species of short-needle pine that makes the best tea, me and my daughter just do like you said and pour hot water over the needles. I have no idea how much Vit.C is in the stuff.

I just use eastern white pine, its the only one I know is safe, and its abundant here, I got like a dozen in the back, like within a 5 minute walk out my back door

Yup, thats the technique.
If you want to improve the extraction, use a vacuum Thermos and use more pine needles.

I just made a greentea/ginger/pine tea, I think the pine adds flavour to the green tea and the ginger adds spice, my new favourite tea combo, along with the vitamin C I found out it also has Vitamin A

I just used needles that were sitting in my kitchen for 24 hours and I think there is more flavour then straight off the tree, wonder if there is more vitamins too, I doubt it though

Goph doesn’t like the way that affects him nowadays. At least I think I remember him saying so a while ago.
Gophy you gotta do something!. Go for a walk with the missus. Go swimming. Masterbate? Taking codeine even semi often can lead to you know what quickly. Not a fun place to bounce back from - so it’s better to just do something else and let the craving subside on its own. Just try not to spin the wheel of craving any further and the momentum will eventually die down and you return to a clear headspace. Hell, eat something sugary but in moderation. Better than getting back into the cycle of sickness, opiated-wellness, cravings, and recovering which opi use often bring about.
Grow some fungi man.

yeah walking the 2 minutes to the pine tree, then boiling the kettle and waiting for the tea to get cool enough to drink worked

I read a tek somewhere about this If you take a faggot of pine needles and bind it up tight enough you can insert it into the anus. The anal walls absorb the vitamins through out the day. It’s a constant flow of nutrients

Er mah gerd... we need to find a way to inform the president of the United States of this life changing discovery ASAP. You could then demonstrate this tek to the president, live, and then he could demonstrate to the heads of state and other nations and practically solve world hunger - in places where pine is plentiful at least.

Google says:
Pine needle tea has a pleasant taste and smell (always a good start). It is rich in vitamin C (5 times the concentration of vitamin C found in lemons) and can bring relief to conditions such as heart disease, varicose veins, skin complaints and fatigue.

Eastern White Pine is the only pine with 5 needles coming from a single point, so its easy to identify

Yeah, i just collected a bunch, and then learned they were ponderosa pines, which CAN be used, but sparingly because of toxins. I tossed em, though... gonna try to find some white pine.
