Contam or metabolic piss?

Could you spot those little yellow/orangish sectors? What do you think it is? As you can see the jar is somewhat cracked (it cracked in the PC but inocculated anyways). May I inoculate or should I discard it? Note: the other jars did not crack and are 100% clean.

Id throw some coir on top of the grain in the jar and just fruit that way. That grain looks kinda sketchy I wouldn't spawn it to a tub. There is a good chance you will still get some mush from that jar.

What could be the worst thing if I spawn just that single jar in a tub separately? Could be possible that -if that is an infection- spores germinate and fly to the other tubs or anything like that? If it is I'd prefer just to throw it

Doesn’t look like contamination. It should be fine to S2B. What variety?

It is Pink Thai Buffalo! Today before going to work checked it a little bit and these yellow-orangish spots expanded a little bit. I'm going to take some more pics in a few days to let you know how its going

No harm in spawning it by itself in a 1 quart shoebox. Just keep an eye on it.

Been meaning to get my hands on a print of TPB! Some update pics would be nice.
As the other user stated; spawning on it's own and isolating it from others wouldn't hurt. Hell you may even get a decent flush!

Update of the jars!

To my eye, it seems to be metabolites luckily
And this pic is for you T666! From my last and best flush (second flush with this PTB variety). Tried them a few times and were pretty good trips

I have a one pound bag of rye berries that is RIPE with metabolic "piss". Variety is Ban Sa Phang Kah. I mean there are orange-yellow areas throughout the bag, and I've been letting it colonize, but its staying at 90%. Would I be able to do a shoebox tek with one pound of spawn? A bit stuck on how to proceed. Apologies to OP for jumping on your thread like that, thank you in advance.

Not sure what the density of hydrated rye berries is, but you could use a measuring cup to divide it into quarts and then use 1-2 quarts per shoebox. Shoeboxes cost less than a dollar at Wal-Mart so you can easily run multiple shoeboxes

hydrated rye should be around 60% water...2 quarts for a small shoebox is a lot of spawn, should be able to pull almost an oz from a pint jar

That jar looks cracked on the bottom which is probably why that jar has metabolites

That jar definitely looks horribly cracked. Never experienced it but that can't end well...

There it is the cracked jar (500ml of colonized spawn) mixed with 1500ml of coir -verm-gypsum (1:3 ratio).
It's around 5 days or so from pins. Sure it has looots of side pins but doing great anyways in spite of those metabolites that were inside the jar. If anyone knows how to avoid side pins without using liner please let me know!! Thanks in advance

And here it is a pic being about 1 day to harvest for the first flush!
I'm really glad that jar with metabolites turned up really well
