Threw moldy mycelium in the ground with potting soil and got my first flush

So I bought a grow kit a while back and nocced some jars, few of them got moldy and the others were going slow because of low moisture in the jars, I crumbled one into some shitty Florida Sandy soil with some Walmart potting mix and a few weeks have gone by. We've had 2 weeks of nonstop rain here and when I checked this morning hand pic and left to that is what I found, guess this is my "First Flush" they look too old to eat but def worked I threw the cubes back into the ground with more water and potting mix in the same spot. I also had another jar that I let soak for 24 hours then left outside in open air under shade, the snails fucking ate the entire surface of mycelium off over the course of a week but it's still got a lot of mycelium inside the block. I also buried this jar with potting mix under a bush, a few of the shrooms I threw into the potting mix bag with a tiny bit of water and left outside. Any chance you guys think I'll get another few flushes? Would love some advice and criticism. I know I could easily cultivate these indoors, but I can't have the person I live with knowing I'm doing this stuff and it's hard to conceal. Thanks all

I also live on Florida and I've done the same thing. However I did not buy potting soil or throw it in sand. I just threw some B+ myc in a place that I knew would get shade all day - on the dirt built up around a tree behind a shed. I was able to go back there every other morning and pic 3 or 4 mushrooms. Good luck

Update on the outdoor grow, got my first pin, only been about 3-4 days, I water them everyday gonna just move to misting now, any help would be appreciated I plan on just misting them and keeping this tarp propped up over them to keep moisture in should I put a bucket over them instead?

go right now and get a bag of blak kow and mix it all in. I may not do indoor ever again the comparision to outdoor is no comparison. Water that shit every morning. I've been trowing oats and WBS right into the pile. Put a bunch of pennies in the mix for slugs. Didnt stop the snails though.

I'll leave here in a minute to go get some from lowes, gonna mix into some of the peaking mycelium hopefully it colonizes, I'll soak and keep the tarp over it, hoping this shit doesn't die on me, do the snails hurt the mycelium? And should I transfer this into a pot or keep in the ground?

My pin is looking a bit stunted and dry now, misted it again anyone think it's just normal? Also was gonna do the boiled cardboard Tek for cloning and take the little stick with mycelium on it to try and get it into a more contained area like an actual monotub
