One of my great pleasures in life is on a trip kicking back with a beer and a smoke, with it quiet, and just reflecting on shit. The introspection is so so great.

Sometimes you find some papers you thought you lost. And if you're really lucky, sometimes you find one of the secret papers.
I also always trip alone.
I'm also starting to become more of a fan of tripping back to back or in close proximity. In the past, I used to think that was a thing to avoid and had a personal rule against it, but now I actually think it might be the most beneficial way to do things. Because, like previous posters said, the first time (especially if you haven't tripped in a while) is often difficult and confusing (and generally the worst), but by the time you're coming down from the first trip things are a lot better. My favorite time tripping these days is always when I'm coming down. By tripping back to back or redosing at the right time, you can make the whole process easier or extend the that comfortable time when you're coming down, etc.
Anyway, I've seen a bunch of old experienced members who say they trip back to back or redose, and I think there's actually something to that. I'm starting to come around and join the bandwagon myself.

Also, you really get the most out of the tripping window if you repeat dose.
If you every 3 hours repeat the same dose of mushrooms, and its not too high, you stay as high, all day.

Anyway, I've seen a bunch of old experienced members who say they trip back to back or redose, and I think there's actually something to that. I'm starting to come around and join the bandwagon myself.
I kinda discovered it on accident. I had this solo trip planned for what felt like a long time. Months. And I finally get to this targeted date (I had paid time off I had to use) and the trip...it wasn't a legitimately bad trip I guess but it kinda maybe bordered on it. It for sure wasn't a blast. I mean I tripped pretty hard but it was one of those where I was probably happy to see it end. It was disappointing in that regard. Majorly. Because I had looked forward to it for so long.
The next day I didn't even plan on it. But I woke up and I all of a sudden found myself with all this free time. And lots of mushrooms. This was back when I was growing. So I decided to double the dose and give it another go.
It turned out to be arguably the deepest, most profound and funnest trip of my life. Even after that initial dose of that day I kept redosing through the night. Just hanging out on the porch and it seemed like it was the most beautiful day and evening of the year. The sky was just perfect. The temp was perfect. I wouldn't have changed it one single degree. I just felt like, for every second of that trip that life was just perfect at that moment. As corny as this sounds I just wanted to capture that moment forever and keep it.
Anyway the come up was virtually non-existent and the trip anxiety was a million miles away. Look it's a hard thing to do because you need two days back to back to do it, plus a third day for what hopefully is a recovery day. Tripping on back to back days is hard on you. Not to mention it takes quite a bit of supply because you have to substantially increase your dose the next day. But yes I've done it a handful of times since and it almost always better the 2nd day -- and by a wide margin.
When I do this I look at the first night trip as just a warm up or an appetizer, with day #2 as the main course.
