Hey shroompeople! I'm new here. I grow, or try to grow whatever I can, from oysters to actives. Here are some of my pan cyan plates and would like some guidance! I've made it as far as T3 but I dont know if I need a t4 before I throw these on sub/spawn. I've labeled them by number for easy reference and so you dont have to read my writing haha. TIA

#2 looks like you could take another transfer, probably from the 6oclock area. Then, put the plate to grain. It looks pretty good already. Is the growth uniform on plates 5 and 7 and it just looks weird because the pics are at an angle? If it’s just a weird angle i think those are some of the better looking plates
Really they’re all very similar, nothing like the diversity of my plates. I’d take a 4th transfer on every plate. Except the last one
If you have the room to try to test all your cultures, throw them all on grain. If not, pick one and keep the rest going on agar so if the one you pick ends up not fruiting well, you’ll have another plate ready to put to grain. Except #8. You got enough to where you can throw that one away.
Curious which variety of Pan Cyan you got here? Good luck

I dont think it is even. It looks like from the picture one side is faster than the other. I will verify when I get home from work!
Edit: the variety is location based. I'll have to look at the order when I have time but it's either Texan florida or 1 other general location. I went through a lot of MS from this guy and I almost gave up.

What are the characteristics that lead you to believe they arent good? To my untrained eye, it looks like generally the same growth texture.
