Are these plates contaminated?
    #26745396 - 06/15/20 02:06 AM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Hey guys - I appreciate your help.

My first grain colonization was a fail as my oats were too wet so I'm giving it another go.  These plates have been chillin for about 6 weeks and I want to use them for my second attempt, but, what are these weird spider webs a blotches and stuff?  Do these plates look ok?  I've never had plates this long so I don't know.

Thanks again.

The "DT" look okay, the GT looks iffy but probably fine. Dont let your plates grow out to the edge , its a bad habit (I engage in way too often). On your next transfers, transfer from the leading edge before it gets 2/3rds of the way to the edge.

I know - I wasn't expecting my first grain jars to be a fail because I hadn't failed anything to that point.  So it's either go back to the prints and start over or use these...
