I felt like drawing 10 drawings a day would be very very beneficial

I felt in case I keep doing it for the rest of the year I would learn how to paint and things like that

I felt it would have 10 - 20 benefits daily like a cigarette less cleaning one's own clothes shaving things like that

it's difference between having it good and having it ok for the rest of the year

!

so huge

in your own personal universe time life look for something like this I mean look at is there anything that in case you do it daily it will benefit very

for me the drawing thing is a sweet spot

I was lucky

I was lucky things formed in my life so that this little gem lies there on the table every day

it might be something different for you

also if you smoke salvia I recommend bjork

and on mushrooms I recommend beatles seargent peppers lonely hearts club bnad

I totally dig that.

I always wanted to own a medieval wire strung harp. But they cost like 10 grand minimum for a good one. So I set about the tortured process of building my own. I even got to be friends with a guy in Poland who's the world recognized expert in the field. And he gave me some serious pointers. I did produce six harps  - 4 nylon strung harps and two wire strung harps in the medieval style I was looking for. The first one tore itself apart under the strain. The second one works but it's by no means a masterwork I realized I would have to do this for 10 years to get the harp I want. The anguish it cost me made me stop.

So I just got to drinking a little bit too much sitting around a little bit too much... And decided to be constructive. My wife went back home for over a week and I didn't have nothing else to do but sit around.

I found a nice harp online that had been played in and well-adjusted... But the person had dropped it. The repairs needed to get it going would take time but the integrity of the harp was still intact. Starting on Monday every day this week after work until about 1 a.m. I started the restoration project. I totally focused on that. All my bad habits and sitting around it just fell to the side... It didn't cost me much even though it's a very nice instrument so I had nothing really to lose. So I wasn't losing no sleep if I screwed it up worse. Finished it yesterday and by this morning it's up to holding tune. I started playing it but 9 a.m.

This was such a great thing because it kept me occupied and absorbed into something I really like. The stuff I don't like about myself sorta went away.

I didn't actually go to court so they put me in jail... Then I went to court.

That's an inspiring account. Technical wizardry transforms harps into pianos these days and the transformation of free upright pianos into roll-top desks would lead to a collection of modern harps.

I'm too much of a perfectionist to be able to draw anything.  Too intensely focused, the pencil ends up pushed through the paper.  I don't know what that says about me, lol...

That harp story sounds more like something I'd do, although I could never play an instrument.

It's been very difficult for me to find a creative outlet in life.  Woodworking is rewarding these days.  Home improvement, fixing things I find cathartic.  Don't know if it qualifies as a creative outlet though.

a ball pen is better for you than a pencil - going through the paper is normal for us. crayons are great for that, they melt.

I didn't go to court for license plate renewal ticket  and society punished me. I served 7 hours hard time in holding tank...lol.

Yes I did. I learned to not go to the court house to correct missing court.

Yeah, I was a real outlaw. When they found out what I was "in for" the other inmates steered clear out of fear. Honestly, if you don't go to jail at least once you didn't live.

I did get one thing out of it. When the cop showed up at my apartment to bring me in he didn't want to handcuff me because he thought the whole thing was stupid. I requested that he throw me against the vehicle, cuff me, and read me my rights in front of my nosey neighbors. He obliged...it was awesome and my shitty neighbors saw it all...lol.

There are very musical people in each generation of my family. My.oldest brother was a vituoso guitarist...classical and otherwise. He could play by ear or music. He also could play any instrument you handed him immediately. My son has a similar gift. I am not a true musician. However you don't need to be gifted to play an instrument. I read music and learn what I read on the instrument. It is really only mastering a physical skill. As a wood worker I am a newbie but good enough. I am not a true gifted musician but I can play from others music. You could to. I can read music for a dozen instruments. I cannot make up music or play by ear, but I like music and I have fun playing other people's stuff...so could you...just try...you could also build the instrument.
