Yeah.. Everyone was right about growing up, it does suck.
When you are young you want to be older and when you are older you want to be younger

and what's with this whole "responsibilities" thing that everyone wants me to do?! I didn't sign up for this bologna.

I know what you mean though, thank you. I have been pushing myself to exercise daily and to only eat foods with healthy fats and lots of protein. I am moving into a new apartment in 2 weeks so I found that biking for a few hours a day helps with stress.

It's not so bad really. Getting older means you realize that much of what you thought was so important as a kid doesn't matter, and you begin to learn what you really value.

So you get more grounded and care less about the bullshit.

Don’t waste any time. Zero. None. Live healthy enough and accomplish your goals periodically. You age a lot faster than people tell you. Just by your mid 20s a lot of people slow way down..”what? I can’t drink and do lines all night and go to work super early and get all my shit done like nothing happened and still have something to do after work!?”  You can’t eat whatever you want, you don’t have as many fuck ups left in you, you can’t say whatever the fuck you want anymore, smoking becomes unenjoyable, your entire social group starts to disappear getting married and having children, focusing on their career, or taking to the streets to shoot heroin and give up. It is actually the worst thing that does happen to a human.

If u don’t waste your time you’ll be chillin tho

Limit sun exposure, it burns.

Substance use may also contribute to signs of aging.

Have purpose in life.

Embrace your self.

Hamhead fuck everything about your opinion on coronavirus, but you are absolutely right about that sunlight :highfive:.

Sunscreen every day of the year maafuckas.

...vitamin D and fish oil and stuff too though, at least for me.

Exercise too. Exercise is an absolute necessity for any quality of life whatsoever, and while I am under 30 still, I feel like it only starts to matter more going forward. And yeah, you definitely can't pretend you're in college anymore. There's a happy middle between being young and enjoying yourself and also taking care of yourself.

This gave me me a chuckle, thanks.

Wasn't directed toward any one, just sharing some adult practices, that's all.

thanks guys.

i will also be gladly taking tips on getting chicks.
there is this one girl that is SUPER cute, shes a country girl too!
i texted her after a while of not talking and ended up asking if she would want to meet up sometime and go to the beach or something. she said
"Yeah I would love to!"
so after i get home from doing some errands i text her back asking when she is available to chill, she responds saying that she can meet up today!
so i jump off the couch to get ready and then she texts me again saying that she cant anymore and it will have to wait until this weekend.

1 weekend later...

she texts me saying that she isnt in town and that we will have to meet up NEXT weekend.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! HELP! SHES SO CUTE!

Adulting is great.  I can generally do what I want when I want, don't even have tell anyone.  I eat what I want. Get into weird hobbies cause I think they're cool.  Give up on said hobby in 2 weeks and 1k dollars later cause its too hard and no one yells at me.  Being an adult rules.

Depending on genetics. Both my parents are genetically skinny, so are their parents and their siblings,, there's no obesity in my family because it's extremely difficult for us to store and keep fat. We would not survive a famine. though I'll still become very unhealthy if I eat kid food. Lucky Charms probably cause cancer

I've eaten more pizza that Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello and Raphael put together and I worked out less than one of them.  :michaelangelo:

Theres genetics, and fattening medications at play, yes, but THAT sure plays a factor too.

I still think it's genetic, the ability to eat a lot. I can't eat much till my stomach tells me to stop. The way the appetite halts and no longer buzzes "EAT" in your head I think is genetic too.

The neurochemical soup of hunger feelings is genetically influenced

I probably could keep stuffing myself with pizza without dying, but it would be torture to force that. It's all a genetic thing. Every bit of it I'm certain!

I definitely don't want to be young again. But I'm pretty persistent on not accepting new responsibilities... Not becoming a parent or getting a mortgage, moving into management.

Just go to work, go to sleep on time. And get high and stay healthy. Definitely won't give that up to go back under some idiot parent rule.

Since we use the phrase “ I’m kidding “
We should also use the phrase “ I’m adulting “

It would balance the scales.

Niffla I’m down for eating like snakes do.  Once a month sounds awesome.  It would free up a lot of time and effort.
Plus we could have a once a month wing off - exclusive wing only dieting once a month.

Today I called and met with both divorced parents from a girl from my daughters school because we suspect sexual abuse by a "friend" of one of the parents.

My partner met the kids and friend in the playground and observed inappropiate fysical interactions with the oldest girl of only 10 years old.

We talked and actually confirmed earlier suspicions from the other parent

Today I feel like an adult

Oh and I'm pretty sure I scared her off. I took a 4g mushroom trip and then decided to text her when I was peaking. I did say I was tripping though.
I'm throwing a pretty bomb party at my place, want to come?
Yeah I would love to but I don't have a ride :/
No problem, we are in the car wash right now and can pick you up.
