What council dumps? As in council woodchipped piles in parks etc?

Question for anyone south of Wollongong.
I’m in a few facebook groups where there have been posts reporting police presence in common picking spots.
Are there any police monitoring groups on facebook for the southern regions?
Has anyone come across police presence in any of the state forests?
I’m keen to head down for a hunt next time the conditions are right, but don’t want to get my number plate put in the system.
Happy for this to be moved to another thread if it’s in the wrong place....

Hi guys Not sure if I’m posting on the right thread but would appreciate any help on this mornings find.
I’ve been hunting Subs for 6 years successfully around north west sydney but recently moved to the east. Found these this morning and due to how dry they are, I’m finding it quite difficult to identify them.
Found in relatively similar habitat to where I’ve found Subs before.

Habitat: Sydney, Eastern Suburbs. Wood Chips & Wood
Gills: Light brown. Adnate/ Adnex.
Stem: 3-4cm length. 2-3mm diameter, white and light brown colour with black Base. Hollowish and thin
Cap: 1-3cm, Light brown, umbonate
Have noticed they curled down towards stem as they’ve dried (not sure if this is relevant)
Spore print color: Not able to get spores just yet as they are VERY dry
Bruising: Black bruising on bottom of stems (unsure if this could have been a blue hue had the mushrooms been more moist)

Hello brethren, Hope all are well and keeping safe in these trying times. Been offline a while, good to be back.
I have had a bit of a nature strip surprise this morning down here in the Shire; anyone care to help me identify this beauty?
Got pics of it’s blueing over time, spore print and various angles.

Update on spore prints the next day:

I’m thinking P.sub seeing these on the left and right of the original two. Please correct me if I’m wrong?

The gift keeps on giving! Wondered over today since flicked the caps but unfortunately had to collect some young pins as a dogwalker spotted me so I backtracked and cleaned up for the day - was a big patch so I’ve kept flicking the spores about hopefully keeps getting bigger - always friendly on the flowering, all snipped with a cm of give in the stipe for the mycelial growth to continue 👌🏻👌🏻
But yeah, still rusty are these what I think they are??
Spore prints coming tomorrow 👍🏻

Far out thanks heaps man! You replied so quick there’s still moisture in them lol. I got a spore print shot here anyway for the mycology’s sake.
I’m such an amateur still always learning new species and sub species there’s so many! One of these days will be successful there’s so many around here. I’ll have another go today and post a few varieties of the habitat I’m looking in.

I’ve been finding all sorts of mysterious mushrooms in the bush lately, I haven’t been able to recognise anything as an active yet. I did find this one today. Very blue tinge to it. I didn’t disturb it as there were only 3 or 4 that I could see. What is it?

Looks good although would wait for a trusted identifier.
I’ve had a good look around the shire and haven’t been able to find any. Although my search hasn’t gone any further west than the camellia gardens.
I’ve had all my luck in pine forest/woodchips.

God bless the rain. Had an insane little hunt this morning. All these patches in the one woodchipped garden bed. Unfortunately looks like one patch had been sprayed, another patch was too far gone. Managed to pick some stonkers.
Happy Hunting

Hi Guys,
Another newbie
Found some mushrooms today in a wood chip area. Would like to confirm if they're indeed Psilocybe Subaeruginosa? They appear to have a blue tinge on the stem area, and seems to have darken hours after picking. Also image is a bit dark, sorry.

Thanks in advance
