Is it possible to develop an allergic reaction to mushrooms?

Does my body percieve psilocybin mushrooms as poison? I remember I had zero nausea on my first trip. I had almost zero problems for next times, but over time I started to hate the taste of mushrooms. Then I always started to get nausea. No matter how I prepare them. I tried grinding them in a powder and swallowing the powder with a water and with my nose closed. Still had nausea and I felt the horrible taste one hour into the trip. I have tried making tea, but it still causes nausea and I can feel the taste of mushrooms an hour later. Also I have a lot of mucus in my throat after eating mushrooms. The only time I can forget about the nausea is when I take very high doses that are too intense.

Nausea doesn't mean you're having an allergic reaction.
That's a bummer tho, I don't really have any suggestions. Mushrooms rarely ever give me any nausea but I have felt a bit a few times.
Have you ate mushrooms from different "batches"/grows? And they all give you nausea?
Have you tried any other psychedelics?...And did they give you nausea?

If you make tea always discard the spent shrooms. The nausea often comes from the chitin in the mushrooms themselves, but it can also come from the affect of the actives on your gut, which contains receptors for serotonin and is affected by psilocin. It also helps hugely not to have eaten for a few hours. If none of that applies, well...

I always make tea, and I rarely get nausea. The only time I have gotten nausea, is when the mushrooms going into the tea were powder dry. So, basically, the mushroom material was getting through the strainer.
Keep the mushroom material out and you’ll be fine

I have tried different species of magic mushrooms like liberty caps and pan cincts. I started getting nausea when I started actively tripping on Cubes. I'll try making tea from whole mushrooms since when I powder them a lot of the powder gets through the stainer.

There’s no need to use whole mushrooms; if you chop them roughly with scissors you’ll get better hydration. Also when making the tea, remember not to boil too long; rather than extracting more psychoactives, you’ll start extracting other nasties in the mushrooms which affect taste and maybe add to the nausea.
How I Make Tea:-
Break the mushrooms up between your fingers into a pan. Pour over boiling water, then bring back to the boil. When boil is reached, slightly turn down temperature and boil rapidly for one minute, stirring all the time. Turn down heat to minimum and simmer for up to ten minutes; no longer. Allow to cool, strain, and drink. Rinse out glass with orange juice - gets rid of the lemon taste (the mushrooms don’t taste bad), and provides enough energy for the trip.
If you want a more intense experience, faster come up, more intense peak, shorter trip - add lemon juice to the mushrooms before pouring on the boiling water; this will start somehow to break down the mushrooms and make the experience faster, more intense.
Good luck DJ Ed

Like I said tea doesn't fix the nausea. I still feel the terrible taste after one hour into the trip.

What do you mean you "feel the taste" an hour into the trip? I can taste tastes, but I've never been able to "feel" a taste as if it is a physical sensation lol.
Are you saying you still taste the tea/mushrooms on your tongue after an hour?
Is it the taste of mushrooms that bothers you & makes you nauseated?
Things like ginger and lemon essential oil can help calm/soothe the stomach, they help dealing with nausea. Some folks that work with ayahuasca and cactus (which are known to have much more potential for nausea compared to mushrooms) claim that lemon essential oil helps lessen nausea a bit. If you smoke cannabis or aren't opposed to it, the herb can help calm the stomach as well but it also has potential to make the trip more intense and change the character a bit.
So the nausea starts for you mostly around when the trip/effects start to take hold? And does it remain present through out the entire trip/until you start to come down?
Are you dosing on a mostly empty stomach or do you have a meal at some point a while before dosing?...Some folks claim that dosing on a totally empty stomach/fasting for a day helps with nausea, but it's the opposite for me. For me, dosing on a completely empty stomach/gut will bring more potential for nausea/stomach load.

When I make tea I don't simmer or boil the mushrooms at all, I'm not trying to "cook" the mushrooms into a broth.
I just let em' soak in hot water for about 20 min or so.
I'll break up the mushrooms with my hands and place them into a cup.
I'll then squeeze some lemon or lime juice into the cup and let the mushrooms soak in it while I heat up some water (just enough juice so the mushrooms are soaked).
Once the water is boiling I'll take it off the heat and pour the water into the cup with the mushrooms.
I'll let that steep/brew for about 20 to 30 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.
Then I'll filter off the mushrooms and give em' a good squeeze/pressing to press out the liquid.
I'm not at all saying your method is "wrong", and I'm not saying you should change your method...I'm just sharing how I go about it.

I always get some level of stomach discomfort (least amount with tea), but I do some weed as the discomfort appears and it immediately cures it and I won't have to worry about it for the rest of the trip. Even a very small hit will fix all the problems in my case, bringing immediate relief that lasts until end of the trip ~

As far as an allergic reaction I actually usually sneeze a couple times shortly after consuming mushrooms, pretty much immediately if I drink tea.
I don't really get nauseous from anything under 6 grams and even then its usually because I ate a big meal close to consuming the mushies, and then still only sometimes.
I've got some ginger capsules for when I take syrian rue since then I do have a much greater chance of experiencing nausea, but I haven't experimented with it enough to know how effective it is.
I just ordered some limonene since according to the user Sabnock thats the part of lemon essential oil that seems to have the anti-emetic effects( https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26669453#26669453 ).

I've used marijuana in the past to kill nausea in plenty of different instances, but for tripping related nausea it has the exact opposite effect on me. Smoking a hit of powerful weed while tripping has made me throw up on occasion. Then again I've only been able to get crazy exotic powerful weed for a while now - maybe some regular dank or mids would be better.
