Also country wide we had zero cases yesterday.
Though a dozen or so today were confirmed.

I agree with the cause strongly.
I do not agree with mass protests right now strongly.
I'm a conflicted hypocrite.
But I'm used to it.

I doubt the protests are going to be that significant. Eating in a restaurant is much riskier, and while the protests are large, they are dwarfed by the number of people who are eating in restaurants in states where they are open for dining.
I don’t think it’s that hypocritical. We’ve known for a while that outdoor activity is pretty safe.

Don't get too excited. Takes a week or two to incubate.... AZ was 'looking strong' and opened on the 15th of last month and here we are now trying to wrestle for first place of new reported infections.

That would be far harder to answer. Australia & New Zealand, for example, seem to have the thing pretty nailed.
America, definitely not so.
Developing countries look like they're in for a nasty time of it.

The US is ramping back up like it did in March but this time nobody is going to do anything to stop it. It’s like we wasted the past three months. I can’t believe what a failure this place is.

.26%
I have a hard time believing how many of you still think Covid is going to kill millions of people.
Numbers are out people, I said it before, comparable to seasonal flu.

I think the level of mask compliance is going to be a good way to estimate how well a region will do over the next few months. Not just becasue the masks work; but because they indicate how seriously the population takes the threat. Just the fact that people are aware of the danger probably does more To mitigate spread. If people aren’t paying attention to hygiene and avoiding risky situations, it would be insane to believe that the virus won’t explode again:

You have a hard time believing it because you're failing to understand some very simple math. Your own purported cfr number proves that. Until a vaccine is out it's a matter of when, not if. Unless the virus mutates to a less deadly version - which believe me, everyone would love to see. The name of the game is closing society just enough that we can slow the spread so we don't overwhelm hospital systems so society doesn't turn to complete and total shit.
I don't know why this is so hard to understand for you.
