Multiple Chanterelles Species - ID Please!

Habitat: Grows in the forest with fallen logs, decaying wood, buried tree stumps, under or near ferns, and near a small stream that cuts through the entire forest. Specifically, they grow from the roots of beech trees, and they pin through moss on river banks.

Gills: See photos; I'm asking for multiple species to be identified.
Stem: See photos; I'm asking for multiple species to be identified.
Cap: See photos; I'm asking for multiple species to be identified.
Spore print color: I currently don't have this, but if this became the necessary part to identify the species, then I will post again in the future with the spore print along with new photos and a new thread.
---
Hey guys, I'm really trying to learn something here, and I'm not only concerned with the edibility of these mushrooms; I've hunted Chanterelles before, and my mind has that switch which tells me which are real and which aren't. My goal here is to learn the finer details of the mushrooms I collect. I would really appreciate if someone has the time to help me grow my knowledge! External resources are appreciated as well.
From what I can tell, there are (at least) three distinct species that I found.
1. I found the most of this species. The fake gills aren't present, but I'm fairly certain that it's a type of chanterelle because of the habitat, color, and colony. Do Chanterelles always have fake gill? What's the exception? Many guides work strongly off this idea, but I'm starting to realize it's really a rule of thumb with this example. Could someone help with this regard? A specific species would be really helpful!

2. I know this is a chanterelle; could someone provide a species?

3. I know this is a chanterelle; could someone provide a species?

4. I know this is a chanterelle. I only found one of these, and I can't exactly say why, but it doesn't seem to visually fit into the same category as (2) or (3). Am I correct in this regard? Why or why not? Again, providing a species would really help!

Thank you for spending the time to read my post.

The "smooth chanterelles" are Cantharellus lateritius. The other ones are some kind of gold chanterelle like Cantharellus cibarius What is your location?

For sure i think you guys also have Cantharellus cinnabarinus "red chanterelles" over there, they are pretty small though.

Haha funny you say that! I found a patch of them yesterday! I'm literally going out to go collect them this afternoon. I found about 50-100 pins, and yes they are pretty small.
As I understand, they can be rarer to find. Would you like to make an special requests for photos? I'm going to post the find here this afternoon.

It's almost impossible to get to species level without DNA when it comes to some North American Cantharellus species so I call it Cantharellus cibarius complex until I see a paper showing that the debate has been settled on the Genus in North America.

I started to get that idea from literature I read! Thanks for chiming in because that really helps. So when hunting in NW Georgia, are there two major categories as described in this thread? The "smooth chanterelles" and the "gold chanterelles"? What is your defining characteristic between them? It's fairly easy to tell from the false gills, but I want to know your thoughts.
