Needing an I.D. on these, do they look safe for consumption?

someone who isn’t me recently got these from and they’re just wondering if what they got was a dud or toxic in any way before consuming thing. If you look closely, there are some black spots along the stems, as well as some darkening on the caps. Upon breaking some of the stems/caps in half, they noticed that the mushrooms were cracker dry stems caps and all; literal dust flew up in the air lol

So strange how easy it is to upload photos to this site, yet most find it as hard as doing algebra

It's not that hard to imagine why, since the link for uploading pictures appears just above the "choose file"-button for uploading other kinds of attachments. Thus many people click that instead, then getting the message their picture files aren't valid.
