choose your own adventure fear and loathing * 1

do you remember those choose your own adventure books, where you have to make choices, and turn to the corresponding pages? i had this idea for a short story

I was thinking, what if there was a choose your own adventure book, with the setting of fear and loathing in Las Vegas?

you could write it from the perspective of the hitchhiker. basically, when Dr gonzo pulls out the gun, you will be given the choice to either stay in the car and continue the adventure, or run away (which he obviously does in the movie). if you run away the story ends

if you stay with them, you can take part in their adventure, and your choices could even affect the outcome.

I haven't posted in a while, but I couldn't think of a better place to discuss this idea than the shroomery. its an idea that evolved from me always wondering what would have happened if the hitchhiker had stayed with them.

im kind of thinking about writing it, but I would be ok with the idea of someone else here stealing my idea, because I think someone else might do a better job with it

let me know what you guys think

I was just playing around with the AI Dungeon 2 game. Maybe there could be a training set that is Dr. Gonzo's work that informs the AI to make a more unlimited set of outcomes. It's like, let's live in the future now!

Dude Goosebumps books back in the day! Super neat idea. If you write it I will read it for sure.
