He Won't Get Sick, It's Definitely A Panaeolus Sp, Active Or Not, There Are No Known Poisonous Sp Of Panaeolus

If you could please get a face-on gill shot also showing the underside of the cap margin, we'd be better equipped to tell what it is.

Obviously a Panaeolus, and I'm leaning toward P. papilionaceus group, as I believe I see tooth-like veil remnants along the cap margin.

This is Panaeolus papillionaceus group, microscopy is needed to determine the exact species, this specimen has an appendiculate cap margin, active Panaeolus dont have that type of cap margin.

He's an inexperienced youngster that doesn't get excited like me about possible active finds, so he never answered my questions. I wanted a spore print from it though, because if it was active I wpuld atleast know that active pans were in the area.

So, its not active. I see blueish coloring going down the cap and i almost thought he had an active. Does the actives grow around these inactives? I've only ever found wild cubes. My goal is weilii, but I would never turn down a Georgia Pan print.

I will tell himto remove the cap and take a picture of the gills.
