How do I know Substrate is done? * 1
    #26735167 - 06/10/20 06:58 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Hello,

I bought a mini kit in April and on the booklet it said that you may get three flushes if you are lucky.

I just picked mushrooms the fifth time today although there were only 3 ( 2 small and one big )

How do we know when substrate's life has come to an end? If I keep it, will they keep on growing ?

My first tub stuck around for many flushes, about two months, until it started getting green nasties.  Keep it going.  No reason to stop.

perhaps it may flourish once more by dunking the substrate.
what do you have to lose?

you'll know when its at its end ----> small fruits -----> none at all ------> dispose of it

Oh! Didn’t know anything about Dunking. I’ll make sure to look that up.

I’m happy to keep them with me. They bring me much happiness. I just wanted to know if people keep them do they keep on growing...
