Opinions on my surface conditions
    #26735109 - 06/10/20 06:32 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Cultivation noob here just wanted to get some opinions on my first project in years and whether I need to tweak anything. 10L shoebox based on ShaperDreaming's SSF TEK, day 16. Ambient 70F with no fan running.

I've been staring at these knots for a while and wondering if they're gonna step up and pin. This is the first time I've been able to do mycology in years so I'm feeling the magic and it feels like Christmas is comin but I'm not sure when .

It looks a little dry to me but I'm apprehensive to mist and cause damage.

Should I be running a small fan in the room?

Thanks for reading this post, and thanks to all teachers on this site

Those tiny droplets seen in the first pic is what I aim for when fruiting my bulk subs. Tho I'd wanna see a bit more of those tiny droplets than what can be seen in the most recent photo. I like to spray with the finest mist I can manage from about a meter away, I want very fine mist to hover down and around the cakes settling in these micro droplets, what I don't want is to spray water on top of the sub that settles as 'normal' sized droplets (too huge) that evaporate off too slowly or merge to create pools. The first pic looks perf i parts of the sub, just try to recreate that all over and you're in the ballpark! Gl
