ID Request. Auckland, NZ
    #26732093 - 06/09/20 05:34 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Habitat:
On woodchip under a pohutukawa tree

Gills:
Tan to brown. Attached to the stem on the better specimens. On some, the gills have pulled away from the stem, but I think this is due to damage.

Stem:
1-3cm long. About 3mm diameter. Feels firm.

Cap:
1-2cm. Caramel/tan, with dark greenish patches on some of them. Generally convex.

Spore print color:
To follow

Bruising:
Black/blue, but I could use an expert opinion on this. See photos.

Other information:
Smell like standard supermarket mushrooms. I think these are subaeruginosa, but they were a little dry and withered in the ground when I found them, so I'm not 100% sure. There were other red/orange mushrooms growing nearby which I suspect are leratiomyces ceres.
