Andy Dick, one of the stars of the television sitcom "Less Than Perfect" and a former star of "News Radio," was arrested for possession of marijuana on May 2 while he was at the Coachella Music Festival near Palm Springs, Calif., report The Associated Press and E! Online.
Both news services cite the Smoking Gun Web site, which reports the actor was partying in an exclusive, VIP area near a stage when a security guard spotted him trying to light a joint. After the guard found a baggie of pot that weighed less than one ounce, he turned Dick over to the Indio Police Department where he was cited for misdemeanor pot possession and instructed to leave the concert grounds. He is due to appear in Riverside County Superior Court on June 16.
Andy Dick wasn't alone. He was one of 29 people busted on the closing night of the two-day music festival. In 1999, Dick pleaded guilty to felony cocaine possession and misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and possession of a smoking device following a car crash in Hollywood, reports E! Online. Once he completed an 18-month rehab program in 2001, his record was wiped clean.
-------------------- There's a thin line between sanity and insanity... and I just snorted it.
I wouldn't be surprised to find out 95% of all of Hollywood tokes.Almost every sitcom episode or hollywood movie has references. either the actors are gettin high, the producers/writers are gettin stoned, or it is a free-for-all.
