What is the craziest conspiracy theory you have heard in person? 1

My ex coworker was a flat earther
My close friend from birth is now schizophrenic (I have made multiple threads on him) and he told me over the phone the other day that George Floyd (the killing, the protests, the video, the cops etc.) were all fake and paid actors. The corona virus didn't exist. It was a made up concept that doctors are in on. The Syrian Civil War and ISIS never happened. All paid actors. He also told me he was adopted and that his real parents died. Keep in mind he looks like a photocopy of his mother and brother
Its pretty nuts honestly

2012 the world really did end and everyone was seamlessly transition into a similar dimension with a few differences, hence the mandala effect.
It’s actually pretty cool

From my mom, she was never a good mom, but she got a lot worse when I was about 12, and today I barely know her or care to. She got heavy into pills, then meth, etc. I don't know what she is on nowadays.
Anyway last time I visited her, she seemed pretty chill, we talked for awhile(like people who kinda knew each other, not like son and mother ). As we got deeper into the conversation she started getting into conspiracies, she asked me to come outside, I followed her out into the yard and she pointed into the trees. She said there was insects watching us, but they were actually Government spy robots that look like insects. She went on "they even come inside the house, some of them are inside right now, they've been watching me for years, and they are probably watching everyone."
At this point I was really wanting to leave, even though I don't really love her it still hurt to see her so mentally fucked, I almost felt sick. But she wouldn't shut up, she dragged me into her restroom and pointed down the drain of her sink, "look inside". I did, nothing there. She insisted I look closer, I did, nothing there. "maybe they won't let you see them, I see them clearly". "I really want you to see them so you don't think I'm crazy". She went under the fucking sink and started taking the pipes apart. She got one pipe off, crammed her phone up there and started taking pictures. "HAH! I GOT THEM!" She shows me a photo, nothing there, she's pointing all over the photo "there's one there, one right there, and really weird demon looking one right there, oh my god he is so creepy looking. I bet the government makes them look scary so you don't mess with them"
I just told her "ok mom I have to go" gave her hug and left, fully prepared to never see her again.

Damn dude. My close relative/friend showed signs of schizo at 14 and it’s just gotten worse. He grew up in my house and was closer to me than my own brother. He will be hitting that point really soon
It’s sad because I used to think there was hope. But that’s about that. Just accept it

Shit Tmethyl, sounds like my mom. Mine's got schizophrenia and she's so far gone she can't hold down a job or apartment and puts us in danger, so we can't be around her. Can you get her into a psych ward? She'll hate it, but it might be what's best for her long term. We tried, but couldn't get her to stay since she's not a Mexican citizen and can sue the pants off of the hospital, so they had to let her go.
Back to the thread, other than my mom, who claims she owns GE, the Hilton Hotels and a bunch of other crap but was screwed out of it by her family and residents of the town where I live, a plumber we hired told us that the corona virus had already existed previously and it was in the labels of a popular cleaning product here and that it's being used for population control. I'm not telling it right, because I had to hold in laughter when this guy was telling me everything.

That sucks dude. No disrespect to people who use meth and somehow dont go apeshit mad, but that's meth for you. Had to cut a few ties because they just couldn't get or keep their shit together. You seem like a cool dude. Congrats on not letting your own life get fuck off because of the bad situation.

My friend made me watch a video about the foundlings. Children that seem to just appear out of nonwhere. I really couldn’t get to the bottom of what they were trying to say but it seem like they’re saying these kids are from another dimension or something.

It's really hard to admit that they can't be helped. It took me a long time.
I remember reading in an article, which I can't seem to find, that the logner schizophrenia goes untreated the worse it gets, and the harder it is to treat. My experience confirms this. Apparently the younger it appears (usually around late teens/early twenties) the worse it gets. Which is sad, but it gives me hope. I'm getting close to my late 20's and I haven't gotten it yet, which makes me hopeful that I won't, but I refuse to live with that sickness if I do get it.

Meth psychosis isn't the same as shcizophrenia, but schizophrenia is a form of constant psychosis. Even people with bipolar can develop psychosis, although their episodes are generally come to an end.

Yeah I remember naively thinking she would sober up one day and settle down. The only settling she'll be doing is in a grave.

She got 2 of my brothers hooked on meth with her, all 3 of them spent a couple of years doing whatever meth addicts do to make money, steal shit, break into things, etc. But my brothers managed to break free and are both doing OK right now.

Funny story, she has been to one, I think the police who arrested her thought she was crazy, so they set it up to get her help. But my mom has some kind of super power, she can pretend to be a completely normal person when it suits her, I mean she has incredible powers of convincing. She has talked her way out of so many sticky situation, it's actually amusing to behold when she does it. She's not stupid, just crazy.

Damn, is your mom my mom? Except for the meth she sounds a lot like it! Being able to hold it together in front of police or when she'll get into trouble. She's an amazing actor and has used it against us a few times too.
Glad to hear your brothers are doing ok

'Pokemon is satanic and will summon demons to ruin your child's life.'
Here in SA we had these circular plastic collectable coins in potato crisp packets. I had a sick-ass collection and my mom cut them all up.
Part of the whole Satanic Panic about the media and such that lingered in SA even up until my teens.
Best preached by my very very religious...science teacher.
Man, I feel so bad for schizophrenic people. Sorry about your story Tmethyl.

Yeah, tazos...haha. Wasn't sure what the cultural differences would be between here and elsewhere. Yugioh, I remember as well. Good times. There was this one kid in my grade who would buy the crisps, give them away, but take all the tazos.. Pretty altruistic in a way, I guess.

Hey this thread was unexpectedly relieving. I don't want to say that it's liberating to see others with schizophrenic family members but it is eye opening to know others have experienced what I have. I am not alone in this. I truly hate schizophrenia. Its really frustrating stuff

Here there was a type of chips that always had two! The tomato ones, which I hated, so I never got two tazos at once I think they're still an occasional thing, but they're not as big as they were.

Yeah, for the longest time I thought I was alone, then I found out a friend of my dad's mom had it too, and then the mom of a friend, and it just seems a whole lot more common now. My gf has bipolar and she's fine 99% of the time. I don't know why nobody ever told me, because it would have been a huge help earlier on to know I wasn't the only one with a crazy mom. Side effects of growing up in a small town I guess.

I had a friend from high school that believed the Government was following him thru a "maze". He told me it during a San Pedro trip we shared together. I think he had some kind of Paranoid Mental illness.
Sadly, he took his own life by jumping off a building. Rest in Peace J.W.

I find it off-the-wall crazy that there are people out there who believe the earth is flat and, get it, that all the space photography of Earth is a big conspiracy of NASA and all the space agencies, that they are all in it to hide the truth that the earth is flat as a pancake.
I don't know what they're smoking but I don't want any of it.
Its mentally ill to have that little trust in humanity. You'd need a disorder of which delusional paranoia is a feature.

My mom has cousins who are full qanon truther types. It's really bizarre and it makes my mom super upset because they used to be really close and now you seriously just cannot have any kind of rational conversation with either one of them. One only started going down that road after she moved out to Arizona. I feel like the heat cooked her brain.
Also, good old fashioned shape shifting lizards. Definitely had someone tell me that earnestly with a straight face in person before. Particularly the George Bush and Hillary Clinton were both gigantic reptilian monsters here to take over the human race. She said that you could 'see them' transforming on camera if you looked hard enough.

Man, I'm not even Jewish I just have Ashkenazi lineage and that freaks me out a little. People are scary, and they find the strangest things to hate. Though this does sound more like the product of mental illness than anything.

I find my Jewish brother in law seems to get the wrong idea when I talk about people going nuts watching endless hours of Youtube and thinking they're doing "research" on whatever nutty conspiracy theory. Flat earth was the kind of thing I had in mind. But I guess just about any conspiracy theory you can think of ends up tying in with antisemitism for at least some proponents.

lol I went to highschool with a girl who was like this. Literally thought the bones were planted and it was all a big hoax.
Pretty sure we tried to have like a class wide intervention during one of my more discussion/debate based classes where it was brought up, but nope, she would magically turn into a brick wall at the slightest hint of any cognitive dissonance.

I just can't grasp how anyone would think that it's remotely plausible that humans, somewhere along the line, thought it would be cool to plant enormous fake bones and open museums and dedicate entire time periods in history to fake big weird looking totally fabricated reptile creatures...just for the lulz.
Like with the moon landing being a hoax (I'm not saying it is btw), I totally get why a country would want to hoax that.
But what would be the motivation behind hoaxing dinosaurs?

Never mind the logistics problem of fossils being found every time solid rock is opened in any country, even in new mineshafts.

To corrupt good innocent god fearing Christians into believing in evolution.
That's what I'm guessing at least. It's so weird because she did not give the impression of being a religious nut or anything. This was a performing arts school, she was totally accepting of lgbt folks, and she was really quite nice and popular too, it was just weird lol. Not too long ago I heard a white racist accuse the black rights protests to be a jewish conspiracy to destroy the white race.
That guy seriously needs to open the window of his echo chamber to let some fresh air in.

It didn't sound like the NFL guy had any religious reasons either. His thought process as I remember it was, if he didn't see it with his own two eyes then he had no reason to believe it was real.

Nah. Too big. Logistically it wasn't feasible. If Noah had taken two of each dinosaur it would've exceeded the Ark's maximum weight limit.

In theory radiometric dating can be spoofed. But the whole "why bother going to this gigantic effort worldwide" thing does not seem to be a red flag for the believers. Same with flat earth.

Same with a lot of people that think the government is tracking them.
It gets hairier, because yes, the government is tracking you, but chances are they don't give a single solitary fuck about you and all that data is being warehoused on a massive scale. One day we will be able to efficiently comb through it for whatever we want though to an even greater degree, and unless we start viewing privacy as a fundamental human right here in the states it's gonna get fucky.
https://whitehouse.gov1.info/nsa/
But like, people who get super paranoid thinking that a they're getting sent 'hints' and 'symbols' and that the person that flashed their highbeams at them is actually a government agent...and in fact everyone who has their headlights on during the day is in on it and use that to signal that to one another.....it's like, any logical person could refute this by simply taking stock of the logistical nightmare this would be. And all for what?
We really need to sort our shit out with mental health(and privacy, I'm sure that if our government wasn't up everyone's asses then these people might be able to be more treatable). We have never gotten it right as long as we've been a country. Idk if Canada has done any better, but I imagine it is more accessible to people who otherwise might not be able to afford private treatment.

I always find it comical when people think the government is watching them. And like you said, I think we all believe that the government will absolutely watch you if you're a big enough threat or deep enough into an illegal activity. But barring either of those, for the other 97% of us, the government does not give two fucks what you're doing. They don't have the time. Like even my own mother for fuck's sake. She got rid of her Amazon Alexa because of the stories out there about how the government would listen in on you through that. My mom is probably the most law abiding citizen on earth. She won't even roll through a fucking stop sign. I tried to tell her that she's arguably the last person in this country who the government would watch (or listen to) but she got rid of her Amazon dot anyway
I also know people who cover up their laptop cameras with tape because the government might be watching them. Yeah man I'm sure the government is interested in seeing you watch YouTube or seeing what you look like while you masturbate. Fuck outta here.

My thing about the moon landing is, wouldn't have Russia been vehement about us (not) landing there? Or idk, maybe they were. I'm not exactly a moon landing expert. But I was just thinking (because we were in competition with them) that they would be shouting from the rooftops to this day how we faked it.

I have a spook laptop with no camera or mic. Didn't even come with wifi. Cancelled institutional order maybe, they had a ton of Thinkpads with this configuration.
IMO surveillance concerns are more realistic though. We should all be worried about that, even if one is individually unlikely to be of interest.

That's a good point.
My logic for believing this is true is the timeline. In 1960 we had no Space Program whatsoever. We had never sent anyone even into Orbit. Less than 9 years later we were live streaming a perfect Moon walk during the cold war on our first attempt?
Now we still can't go 50 years later, but they did it in under 9 years starting from scratch? We have 100x their technology today and IDK if we could go in under 9 years. Doesn't add up.

I think it's more likely they went and wanted us to question if they did because it's then easier to doubt whether they found anything they don't want to tell you. The moon is weird. It has several strange properties and many strange accounts coming from astronauts as well as things like audio taken during missions. Also if you put this sphere of conspiracy over subject you make people categorize you and then judge you on the subject based on previous interactions. There seemed to be decent proof they went to the moon. If I remember correctly folks with access to good telescopes could see the thing. So that's two good reasons some people get so pissed when they hear anyone questioning the moon landings. Facts and social grouping. So if I say, the moon has been theorized to be hollow, someone who is adamantly pro-moonlanding would assume I'm then anti-moonlanding and then judge whatever else I'm about to say as a measurement of, "Okay how stupid is this going to be?" Rather than pure interest. To their credit, a lot of information has been disseminated, and that's good.. But it's funkier than they admit. Guarantee. It's literally the perfect place to perch and have a gander at a bunch of fucking monkeys you know.. if there's anyone out there wanting to do so. That's where they'd go

Oh I agree, and it's unquestionably a blatant invasion of privacy. It's a frightening thought no question. I just find it funny when the totally average joe who just works a nine to five thinks the government is watching him. Like myself. My life is boring as fuck. I'm a total square. Outside of my occasional psychedelic use and even less occasional toke of weed (which hasn't be decriminalized in my area), I don't do anything illegal. So I can guarantee that the government isn't wasting time and resources on my bum ass. I think one would have to be pretty high up the list of importance when it came to national security for one's name to even get within 100 miles of the govt's radar.

I remember shortly after 9/11, my family was living in the NYC metro, and I had my first 'UFO' sighting. I was just a little kid having a sleepover, this was 2001 or 2002 and I saw all these crazy flashing lights around my neighbors rooftop and windows. My neighbor was a black dude who was in lower Manhattan when the planes hit and was temporarily blinded from it. Nice guy, I played with his kids all the time. Me and my friend were going crazy over these 'aliens' and we excitedly woke my parents up and were just jubilant ignorant little shits and that was that.
I forgot about it years later until the first commercial drone. And read in the Snowden leak they surveilled innocent people in the NYC area after 9/11 - particularly Muslim Americans. I have zero doubts in my head now that it was a military drone and we just had no clue back then.
https://www.theverge.com/2014/7/9/5835772/snowden-leak-confirms-us-spied-on-american-muslims
So I wouldn't be so sure. The gubment gets some funny ideas about who's important and who's not.
Ah shit I'm posting my own conspiracy theory in a thread about crazy conspiracy theories.

Thats pretty interesting!
Never heard of NSA drone sightings before. Do u remember what color the light was? Did anything electronical start acting weird? Did you experience any missing time?
Theres actually a famous UFO abduction from New York I think. Witnesses actual saw someone floating in the air inside a beam of light. Its one of the few stories of people witnessing an alien abduction in real time (the other being Travis Walton).
I find the Reptilian shapeshifters to be pretty "common" so to speak. It seems a lot of people who are into conspiracy theories believe this. Then Marvel puts out some recent movies that feature shape-shifting Reptilians and Im like "Hmmmm, thats weird".
It would seem that the Reptilian Shapeshifters Theory is based on stories from UFOlogy about Dulce and other underground alien-military bases and that Reptilians are "running the show" down there and the human military take orders from them. Its pretty far out stuff but i believe it. Not sure on the shapeshifting political figures thou!

No missing time, no weird stuff, the lights were read and green iirc, looked exactly like any drone we just had never seen anything like it before as random citizens. We were pretty close by too.
I just talked to my mom about it and she remembers it, and she thinks that if it was government surveillance they were probably surveilling the whole neighborhood because we had a lot of Muslim families and folks from abroad.

I read a long time a go some televangelist or high profile preacher said "jesus put the dinosaur bones in the ground to test our faith" or something like that.
https://www.bibleandscience.com/science/ageofearth.htm The Appearance of Age In 1857 Phillip Gosse wrote Omphalos which means "belly button" in Greek. This was at the time when geologists were saying the earth is very old. He believed that God created the earth to look old. It would have the appearance of age. Adam would have been created as an adult with a belly button. Adult trees would have tree rings.
Some believe that God created all these fossil bones of animals that never really lived in order to test our faith in God. Some believe that scientists are putting these fossil bones together wrong and create monster dinosaurs that never really existed. Others say that Satan created these fossils in order to deceive us.
Are the fossils we find in the ground from real animals or are they fake created by God to test us? Most in the young-earth movement would say that fossils are of real animals which Noah’s flood destroyed. Most dinosaurs were buried and turned into fossils as a result of Noah’s flood.
Is the "Appearance of Age Theory" valid? Only if you make God a deceiver. Why would God go to all this trouble to deceive us? It would be better to blame it on Satan, but he is not given the power to create the world unless one believes in gnosticism.
First of all, in Genesis 1:11 the Hebrew word avD means young budding plants, not full grown plants or trees (Westermann, 124). Generally avD describes budding young plants of which there are two kinds, plants that are small, and trees which are large. So Genesis 1:11 clearly indicates that there was no appearance of full grown plants and trees.
Now let us look at the supposed evidence of a young earth.

My parents saw a UFO once, up close. They were apparently near a field, driving somewhere and a UFO stopped near them, floated in the air a few seconds and then left. They're sure it was real because other people from town said they saw something without being asked. Crazy stuff. My dad apparently also lived with a ghost for a while, had a friend sleep over because he was wasted, he woke up in the middle of the night and flipped out about the old lady in the corner staring at him.
As far as blocking cameras, I'm more worried about some random hacker trying to sextort me or be creepy, not really the government. Although the goernment here has used pegasus spyware on journalists they didn't like before and I don't doubt they would use it to spy on their spouses, as have american and german intelligence agency members.

This is the people they want in charge of shit, no wonder things are all fucked up!
https://newrepublic.com/article/77707/odonnell-carbon-dating-bogus CHRISTINE O'DONNELL, Concerned Women for America: Well, as the senator from Tennessee (it fucking figures!) mentioned, evolution is a theory and it's exactly that. There is not enough evidence, consistent evidence to make it as fact, and I say that because for theory to become a fact, it needs to consistently have the same results after it goes through a series of tests. The tests that they put — that they use to support evolution do not have consistent results. Now too many people are blindly accepting evolution as fact. But when you get down to the hard evidence, it's merely a theory. But creation —
This is a good time to be crassly commercial and plug TNR contributor Jerry Coyne's excellent book Why Evolution Is True, which explains quite clearly that evolution does "consistently have the same results after it goes through a series of tests." That's why it's widely accepted as fact by scientists. Anyway, here's where O'Donnell gets nutty:
CHRISTINE O'DONNELL: Now, he said that it's based on fact. I just want to point out a couple things. First of all, they use carbon dating, as an example, to prove that something was millions of years old. Well, we have the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens and the carbon dating test that they used then would have to then prove that these were hundreds of millions of years younger, when what happened was they had the exact same results on the fossils and canyons that they did the tests on that were supposedly 100 millions of years old. And it's the kind of inconsistent tests like this that they're basing their 'facts' on.
And:
CHRISTINE O'DONNELL: Well, creationism, in essence, is believing that the world began as the Bible in Genesis says, that God created the Earth in six days, six 24-hour periods. And there is just as much, if not more, evidence supporting that.
Remember, kids, fossils were placed there by Satan to test us.
How in the fuck do these people get in high positions/offices???

I've actually never heard any conspiracy theories in person. The closest thing I can think of is that one time I happened to run into someone who didn't understand how gravity worked in space, but that was just a matter of them actually literally not understanding/knowing how it worked, there was no conspiracy theory along with it. They were just factually uninformed/stupid.
They didn't understand why the planets in space didn't fall down (and actually asked this exact question), but again there was no conspiracy attached, it was just simple ignorance.

"I thought you might find interesting this transcript of the US Senate Committee case regarding Mormon Senator Reed Smoot.
Senate Committee Testimony Transcript:
Mr. Tayler (Senate Attorney):What is your business? Mr. Smith (Mormon Prophet and President): My principle business is that of president of the church. Mr. Tayler: In what other business are you engaged? Mr. Smith: I am engaged in NUMEROUS other businesses. Mr. Tayler: What? Mr. Smith: I am PRESIDENT of Zion's Cooperative Mercantile Institution. Mr. Tayler: Of what other corporations are you an officer? Mr. Smith: I am PRESIDENT of the State Bank of Utah, another institution. Mr. Tayler: What else? Mr. Smith: PRESIDENT of Zion's Savings Bank and Trust Company. Mr. Tayler: What else? Mr. Smith: I am PRESIDENT of the Utah Sugar Company. Mr. Tayler: What else? Mr. Smith: I am PRESIDENT of the Consolidated Wagon and Machine Company. Mr. Tayler: What else? Mr. Smith: There are several other SMALL INSTITUTIONS with which I am associated. Mr. Tayler: Are you associated with the Utah Light and Power Company? Mr. Smith: I am. Mr. Tayler: In what capacity? Mr. Smith: I am a director and PRESIDENT of the company. Mr. Tayler: A director and the president? Mr. Smith: Yes, sir. Mr. Tayler: Had you that in mind when you classified the others as 'small concerns'? Mr. Smith: No sir, I had not that in mind. Mr. Tayler: That is a 'large concern'? Mr. Smith: That is a large concern? Mr. Tayler: Are you an officer of the Salt Lake and Los Angeles Railroad Company? Mr. Smith: I am. Mr. Tayler: What? Mr. Smith: PRESIDENT and director. Mr. Tayler: Of what else are you President? Mr. Smith: I am PRESIDENT of the Salt Air Beach Company. Mr. Tayler: What else, if you can recall. Mr. Smith: I DO NOT RECALL JUST NOW! Mr. Tayler: What relation do you sustain to the Idaho Sugar Company? Mr. Smith: I am a director of that company and also the PRESIDENT of it. Mr. Tayler: Of the Inland Crystal Salt Company? Mr. Smith: Also the SAME POSITION THERE. Mr. Tayler: The Salt Lake Dramatic Association? Mr. Smith: I am PRESIDENT of that and also a DIRECTOR. Mr. Tayler: Are you president of any other corporation there? Mr. Smith: I DO NOT KNOW. PERHAPS YOU CAN TELL ME!! I DO NOT REMEMBER ANY MORE JUST NOW! Mr. Tayler: It would seem that the number has grown so large that it would be an undue tax upon your memory to charge you with naming them all. Mr. Smith: What relation do you sustain to the Salt Lake Knitting Company? Did I already ask you about it? Mr. Smith: No sir, you did not. Mr. Tayler: The Salt Lake Knitting Company? Mr. Smith: I am PRESIDENT of it, and also a director. Mr. Tayler: The Union Pacific Railway Company? Mr. Smith: I am a DIRECTOR. Mr. Tayler: Are you an official of any mining companies? Mr. Smith: Yes, sir. Mr. Tayler: What? Mr. Smith: I am the vice-president of the Bullion, Beck and Champion Mining Company. Mr. Tayler: The Deseret News? Mr. Smith: No, sir. Mr. Tayler: You have no business relations with that? Mr. Smith: NO SIR. Mr. Tayler: Is the Deseret News the 'organ of the Church'? Mr. Smith: Well, I suppose it is in some sense the 'organ of the church'. It is not opposed to the church, at least. Mr. Tayler: It has for years published, has it not, at the head of its columns, that it is "the organ of the church", or the "official organ of the church"? Mr. Smith: Not that I know of. Mr. Tayler: Do you know who owns it? Mr. Smith: How is that? Mr. Tayler: Do you know who owns it? Mr. Smith: I know who owns the building that it is in. Mr. Tayler: Who owns the building in which it is published? Mr. Smith: The church. Mr. Tayler: The church? Mr. Smith: Yes, sir. Mr. Tayler: Tell us what you know about the owners of that newspaper. Mr. Smith: It has been for a number of years past owned by a company --- AN INCORPORATED COMPANY. Mr. Tayler: What is the name of the company? Mr. Smith: The Deseret News Publishing Company. Mr. Tayler: Do you know who its officers are? Mr. Smith: No, it is not owned by that company. Mr. Tayler: Oh, it is not? Mr. Smith: No; it is not. Mr. Tayler: What do you know ---- Mr. Smith: But I say for years it was owned by a company of that kind. Mr. Tayler: What do you know about its present ownership? Mr. Smith: I presume that the present ownership is IN THE CHURCH. Mr. Tayler: You suppose the present owner is 'the church'? Mr. Smith: Yes, sir; the church. Mr. Tayler: I do not want to have any misconstruction put upon your use of the word 'presume' because you do not know that it is so owned? Mr. Smith: I really do not know so that I could tell you positively. Mr. Tayler: Who would know? Mr. Smith: I PRESUME I could find out. Mr. Tayler: Could you find out before you leave Washington? Mr. Smith: Perhaps so.
(SOURCE: Reed Smoot Case transcript, Vol. 1, pp. 81, 82, 83, 86, 87, and 88)
A day later, because the ownership of the Deseret News and its articles were keys to the case, Joseph F. Smith testified:
Mr. Tayler: In what form does your church have title to the Deseret News property? Mr. Smith: It owns the deed. Mr. Tayler: I am speaking of the newspaper, not the building. Mr. Smith: The press; yes. I would like to state that when I was asked that question before, Mr. Tayler, I was not aware of the fact that I have since learned from my counsel here that during the trusteeship of Lorenzo Snow the Deseret News plant was transferred from the Deseret News Company to Lorenzo Snow, trustee, in trust. I was not aware of the fact, Mr. Chairman, when that question was asked me yesterday, I believe it was. I have since learned that that is the fact and that my counsel who is here made out the papers for the transfer. ..... Mr. Tayler: So that it is now in YOU as trustee in trust? Mr. Smith: NOW I OWN IT AS TRUSTEE IN TRUST. Furthermore, I will say that I have discovered since yesterday that there is published on the second or third page of the Deseret News the statement that it is the "organ of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" (Reed Smoot case, Vol. 1, page 158)." https://www.exmormon.org/mormon/mormon410.htm

the morman church is an incredibly well-designed cult, any entrepreneurs interested in endeavoring in such majik should be referred to study.

Yeah agreed. Have you ever watched the last season of StarGate SG1? They basically took the Catholics+Mormons etc etc to the next level..portrayed as fake prophets that control large portions of space & planets and promote a book as the only true spirituality only allowing those who accept its words as true to be granted freedom to higher planes and evolution and peace.. brainwashing people and stealing their soul. The more one worships them, the more they actually steal your life force.
They have elaborate temples and these guys called the Ori or something that go around spreading propaganda and doing magic tricks to fool the people then gout the galaxy.
Supposedly the are the enemies of the Ascendency and the true enlightened ones - the Ancients. But they pretend the ancients are the fake ones and not themselves....deceivers! Also, there are recorded incidents & trio reports from the early American settlers tripping on mushrooms online...something about acccidently making soup out of active fungi...

had a customer pass through my fellow cashiers line, ranting how covid doesn't even exist, and next customer and both of us were all like...oooook.... had a good laugh and all that.
later on, was telling other cashier about my new microwave i just bought, how it was a 3 for one deal with a convection oven and air fryer ( i had no idea there was such a thing, but you actually can buy a air fryer/convection toaster oven/microwave that does it all, its pretty sweet and a nice space saver... and fuck yeah convection oven!)...
and shes like... you know microwaves are bad for you and radioactive right, like those 5G towers?
..................................................
i cant even. i thought she was a sane lady and then it turns out she's just as psycho as the covid denier dude. i tried to explain to her that microwaves are light. LIGHT. electromagnetic waves, and so are what comes from those 5G towers. yeah, you wouldn't wanna get microwaved, but that's because it resonates with the water molecules in your body, causing them to become energized and heat up, but thats not radiation, but she wasn't hearing any of it, nor of how microwaves were not destroyers of nutrients. (yes they destroy nutrients, but so does any form of cooking. microwaving food is actually one of the better forms of cooking, as it's a fast heating method and little water, so few nutrients are leeched out. boiling is bad, especially if you discard the water afterward. steaming is ok.)
i swear, the worlds gone mad.

Shroomery is now being monitored by the CIA to locate and capture massive mushroom drug smuggling rings.
The greatest conspiracy is the average person trusting that the news, media, and social media are keeping them updated on exactly what's going on, with no bending or distorting of truth and facts whatsoever.
I feel the virus is 100% real, but it's being overplayed for control and monetary positioning pre-election.
The virus might as well be fake since they aren't testing anybody; what's the difference?
Waiting for people to do the dirty work and find the 1 in 1,000 under 75 y/o death that was statistically probable anyway?

Didnt hear this in person but I laughed at this today: some flat earthers think gravity is fake and it is all just buoyancy so space being fake and all the conspiracies to create a globe are not enough... I think some people just need to believe differently from the rest or the scientific paradigm to feel special. And flat earthers are literally in a cult which gives cult social benefits. Some people must be quite desperate in this world.

Indeed. If the universe has an infinite amount of infinities of cycles or simply an infinite time to unfold - and if evolution also has the same kind of free range - your wish might one day be true.

Indeed It is trippy, the ultimate primal trip of them all- daily life just as it is with all its actuality and potential. Being alive & awake to it as it’s happening is more than I could ever ask for. I wouldn’t even venture to say what it exactly is because I can’t - and it wouldn’t matter anyways. The great perfection - without even adding a single thought to it.
And we get to experience it all while flying through the vast openness of it all while on an organic spaceship 🚀

That made me think of the Voyager 1 flying through interstellar space. "Voyager 1 is a space probe that was launched by NASA on September 5, 1977. Part of the Voyager program to study the outer Solar System, Voyager 1 was launched 16 days after its twin, Voyager 2. Having operated for 42 years, 9 months and 8 days as of June 13, 2020, the spacecraft still communicates with the Deep Space Network to receive routine commands and to transmit data to Earth. Real-time distance and velocity data is provided[3] by NASA and JPL. At a distance of 148.61 AU (22.2 billion km; 13.8 billion mi) from Earth as of March 12, 2020,[4] it is the most distant human-made object from Earth.[5]" -wikipedia
After it stops transmitting it will still continue to travel at 60k km/h infinitely until it hits something, which might never even happen in the lifetime of earth...

Had a co-worker who believed in creationism tell me the sun was only 6,000 years old based on bible math and the nobel scientist who dated the universe based on background radiation were part of a conspirarcy to hide the truth.

On the other hand, if you can read but don't have a very long attention span, that part is conveniently near the start.

Nobody ever actually wins the lottery-- it's never actually awarded. Well, they let one or two through, but definitely any time the winner is "anonymous" it's all kept by the states/gov.
While it's feasible, I told him I'd think someone would have tracked it by now.
He insisted there were websites that audited the agencies and had plenty of proof.
I never followed up.

I would have trouble believing that, because the state/government keeping it would be difficult to keep a secret since surplus revenue is a gold mine for lawmaker attention. I'm open to it being rigged in general though, various forms of the lottery clearly have been in the past. Organized crime likely has their hands all over some lottery systems throughout the world, big and small.

There’s a file of the Hubble Ultra Deep Field all in one and you can download it and then zoom in and zoom out to go further and further and see a whole lot more in depth, it’s incredible. Some of the things captured in the photo no longer exist in the same form as when they were taken.Ie can’t be found if you could somehow visit it in space time today... just gone like magic ( you know what I mean).

News like this makes me think the lottery isn't rigged:
https://highline.huffingtonpost.com/articles/en/lotto-winners/
It can be, there was a story about a computer engineer made it so that specific numbers won on certain dates, but he was eventually caught and the rigging undone.

n 2011, Harper’s wrote about “The Luckiest Woman on Earth,” Joan Ginther, who has won multimillion-dollar jackpots in the Texas lottery four times. Her professional background as a PhD statistician raised suspicions that Ginther had discovered an anomaly in Texas’ system.
I had read about this woman before. She got away with it as far as I know. She didn't rig anything per se (other than getting one store owner to only sell tickets to her when she was expecting a winning ticket to be there.) More or less the idea was that she had worked out what they were using as a pseudorandom number generator and knew what numbers were coming up.

Boneless wings aren't wings at all. That can't ge argued. The only way a "boneless" wing could qualify is if they used only meat from the wings to produce their product.

Yeah! I heard about that woman too! It's pretty cool since she's abusing a flaw that the lotto has, not altering anything on her end!
This is the guy I meant:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Lotto_fraud_scandal
Quote:
Eddie Tipton and his brother Tommy Boyd Tipton were subsequently accused of rigging other lottery drawings, dating back as far as 2005.[10][11] Based on forensic examination of the random number generator that had been used in a 2007 Wisconsin lottery incident, investigators discovered that Eddie Tipton programmed a lottery random number generator to produce special results if the lottery numbers were drawn on certain days of the year.[11][12][13]

So I just remembered this ridiculous conspiracy theory that there used to be giant forests on the earth. Now this video is really long to get to the point, but go to around the 31:00 mark. So this person is talking about those volcanic mountains or whatever actually being massive tree stumps.
Can someone top this bullshit?

- HIV was designed in a laboratory by the CIA to wipe out all of the gays. No idea how or why.
- Hitler did not kill himself but instead staged his suicide and fled to Antarctica or the Arctic, I forgot which one.
- Saturn used to be the earths sun before it got hit by an asteroid.
- Saturn is the actual Satan. Satan is the overseer of all good and evil and if Saturn (Satan) was our sun then it would be watching over us.
- Aliens put Saturn in our solar system to act like a sort of virus. It blocks out true reality and masks it with a matrix like reality that we live in which in return produces a lot of hate and strong negative energy that they can feed off of and thrive on.
- The Moon is a hollow. A couple years ago NASA sent a probe containing some dynamite to the moon, NASA reports that "The Moon Rang Like a Bell" that lasted for over an hour. This could indicate many things but one of them would be that the moon is hollow with giant struts coming from the center to hold the outer surface together.
- The royal family are all reptilians that have been cross breeding with each other and a reptilian like entity that can essentially vanish in and out of our perceived reality. They do this by some how shifting their frequencies just outside of the visible light spectrum.

Go to Thunderbolts.info or better their YouTube site-- hours of alternate-reality "history" including the Saturn-as-Sun thing. But I think it's different than the asteroid thing you mentioned on why it's no longer there-- I don't remember what their details were, been a few years since I saw it.
