My first grow is pinning.

Hey all,
Just want to see what you all this for my bulk grow so far?
Rye berries, verm, manure, coir, gypsum.
GT spores.
2 weeks colonization of substrate.
Pics of Day 3 and 4 of fruiting, kept at about 76F, fan in room:
Issues: Had some green in there and cut it out. I salted the hole and gave a little spray for H202. Everyone said it was fucked and I was advised to bury it. Being my first I couldn't bring myself to bury it without observation.
Any thoughts, opinion. pointers welcome.
Thanks

Soaked up the myc piss. Hopeful it will continue to grow. Some of the bigger fruit is turning blue on the bottom. Fucking with it as little as possible.

It looks pretty wet in there, what is your tub setup?
Using manure can be tricky at first, and using spores to grain instead of going to agar first as well. One or both of them got ya this time but you have a pretty nice pin set considering Hopefully a bunch of them will mature before things take a serious turn. It looks like they will.
But ohhh you actually lose 20% potency if you call metabolites 'myc piss'. No one's been able to find out how the mushrooms know but it's some heavy science.

Thanks for the comment. Haha metabolites yes. Hope they continue to grow. How do you know if they are growing really slow vs if they have aborted? I am seeing bruising on the base of the bigger ones now, any thoughts there? I haven't misted. I got the substrate from a website (won't mention names as i am new to this) and I felt it was a little too wet. Not sopping but heavy, and very easily squeezed out.
I now have a pressure cooker so next time ill make my own mix. Whats your go to?
Have some rye berries of my own about ready to throw down.

Do you have pictures of these bruising mushrooms? It could be just normal blueing which some fruits do but it could also be the stem reacting to nasty stuff in the substrate, especially if it’s like a greenish-blue on the stem.
You can tell an abort by the cap usually. If it starts turning dark it’s an abort. But you can also get little ones that look healthy but just don’t grow in that flush and even if you try to save them when harvesting, they never take off. The caps start to mature a little but never open and they stay tiny pin sized.
For bulk I just use Eco Earth coir from the pet store and vermiculite. Grain spawn is WBS inoculated with LI made from clean agar. I also drop wedges for grain masters but I’ve really been diggin the LI lately. It’s fast but you have to be comfortable with agar.

In that first picture, is that mushroom peeling? I had that happen to a mushroom from a cake I grew, and I was wondering what causes it. There were no other signs of damage or discoloration or anything that I could see, and none of the other mushrooms I pulled from that cake did that.

Update I harvested a little early because of contamination.

Totaled 45grams dry. That's one flush indoors and one small flush from burying it outside.
Major mistake made: I messed around with it too much after harvesting the 1st flush. I should have left all small pins and just buried it. I scraped it instead because I was concerned it would rot once covered with compost. The ones I did leave were the only ones to come up.
The ones outside were much bigger
