Buying a hot plate to run a PC on

Anyone have tips for buying a hot plate to run a PC on? I have tried using one in the past, it would boil water fine but could not get my PC up to pressure.
I'd like to pay under $70 if possible. Anyone know what to look for in one?
I am thinking of hooking it up to an electric timer (like what I use to turn my lights on/off) , so I can set it to shut off after a couple hours.
Thanks!

I have a hot plate that I use, but also have the same problem as you used to have. The hot plate can run a PC cycle, but I have to get my PC up to pressure on my regular stove. It can get my small PC up to pressure, but not the 23 qt.
I believe this is largely due to the stovetop running on a 240v power source, while the hotplate plugs into a standard 110v outlet. Also, the stovetop burner I use is way larger than any hotplate I've seen.
A couple things I know you should be looking for are (1) a large burner surface and (2) high wattage. I will be checking back to see if anyone else has other suggestions.

I've got the cadco csr-3t. They're heavy duty. It can handle a AA941 stuffed with 9, 5lb bags no problem. Takes about 30 minutes longer than the gas stove to get to pressure. Holds a real steady temperature, you can set a timer and walk away from it.

I've been looking at these Cadco burners, they looks really nice - your's is a bit more than I wanted to spend though
I'm only running an AA921. I've found this Cadco 1500watt for 58$ on this site, seems to run about 120$ everywhere else I wonder if this would be enough ?

Yeah, I spent $130 on mine.
The one you linked is only 120 watt, not sure that'd be strong enough. Also that site looks scammy as hell.

That one was actually 1500Watt , 120V

But yeah that site was way sketch after checking it out. Fuck that noise.
I actually bit the bullet and bought the same Cadco hotplate that you have - I had a $70 credit already so I figured to get something quality. It'll be nice to run my sterilizer in the same room as my flow hood. Hell yeah, I'm excited about this!

Yeah, that site is totally a scam. Didn't even exist a month ago.
Ordered mine from- https://www.equippers.com/search/results.asp?keywords=cadco+hot+plate&search_submit=Search
I was wrong, the kr-1 is 1500 watt. I'm not sure how it would handle a pc compared to the csr-3t.
I'm quite happy with mine, I've had it a few months. Run like 20 cycles so far. It works great. Frees up the stove for cooking food (or running multiple PCs at once ). I got it after seeing Gr0wer (myer's mushrooms) using one. He's got his all automated, with a temperature probe hooked up to a PID controller.

A PID controller? Automated how?
I ordered from a restaurant supply company, came to $130 with shipping. I appreciate the tip man, I've been researching freaking hot plates all day haha it's been hard to find a durable one that someone actually uses themself.
My AA is hybrid PC/Sterilizer so it's quiet with the stopcock valve, doesn't keep me up at night - I'm gonna plug this into an on/off timer so once it's at pressure I can set it to shut off after the PC cycle - no more having to stay up half the night to make sure I turn the stive off

Ive been using the same Cadco myself. Its slow to heat compared to my stove but works well enough for sure.
