Microdosing - powdering, dosage and potency

Hey there, I'm currently microdosing (only 2 doses in) on a very low dose of 0.05g. So far I haven't ground the mushrooms into powder because I hear this loses potency. I'm just wondering how other microdosers manage their dried stash?
How many doses do you grind up in advance? (I'm guessing you need a certain amount for it to even work properly with the blades, and at such a low dose, I'd have to do many doses at once for it to work). Have you found any loss of potency in doing so?
Does anyone just weigh out the desired amount of whole dried mushrooms? And how has this gone for you? Any huge discrepancies between doses?

0.05g is such a small dose (micro dose) that you wont feel any effects no matter how degraded or un-degraded they are.

That is kinda the point of microdosing.....
I've tried higher dosages, and even 0.1g was too much for me to microdose with (seems I'm hypersensitive - a 1g trip had me at a level 3). My aim is to be sub-perceptual with a light boost to mood, but no 'obvious' effects.
I'm happy with my dosage, but clearly if they lose potency at such a low dose then they will be completely pointless.

Wow Man U must be ultra sensitive :-) that can be an asset for sure especially for microdosing. Ur stash will go a lot farther. When I do it I don’t even powderize the dried fruits. I just weigh it out and chew it up. Just saves time for me. But as far as dosing levels, I think that it’s all relative to the individual. I do it often enough that I need a little more so for me about .4-.6 grams every 2-3 days has me where I want to be, but it took some experimenting to get there. Trial and error. Though I do recommend that your “heavier” trials be on weekends or whenever you aren’t at work. Trust me lol

Thanks HG.... Yeah, well I'm not unhappy about it! I knew something was not quite right for me when I chewed one mushroom (my first experience) that weighed only 2g fresh and it put me on a L1 trip! That was before I had scales, so I have no idea what it was dried... But surely a maximum of 0.3g - probably closer to 0.2g.
I did 1g less than 2 weeks later and took a trip to the stars!  
Then I tried 0.13g as a microdose and still lost a few hours to it, less than one week after the 1g dose. So yeah, super sensitive Especially given I would probably have had a little tolerance from the 1g dose....
Anyway... It works OK for you just chewing on the whole mushrooms? No major fluctuations in strength? 0.05g seemed to work well for me, but I can't imagine going much up from that again, unless I build up a tolerance... I'll certainly be sticking to 0.1g and under for a microdose.
Leaves me more for fun macrodosing Quite happy to be a mushroom lightweight!

Personally I put all my dried fruits into a NutriBullet (or Magic Bullet or vitamix. I’d guess a standard blender would suffice too) and turn them to dust. What makes this save time is if you can get capsules the right size so that when it’s full, it’s your preferred dose size. That way you can just fill it up and cap it knowing it’s got your preferred dose, rather than having to worry about weighing each individual capsule because that will be a huge time suck. I got some “Size 1” capsules but they hold about .17g when you stuff them full. I would consider my tolerance average and I can feel that size dose.
You would probably want to try a “size 5” capsule (the bigger the number, the smaller the capsule)
With a .05g (50mg) dose, it won’t take much time or fruit to capsule up a months supply. Dust your fruit, put it in a wide, shallow Tupperware and then use the capsule to scoop the dust out of the Tupperware. I personally use a q-tip to help stuff the powder into the capsule, but since you’re looking for a really small microdose you probably won’t have to worry about doing that depending on the size of capsule you use. You can also pretty easily stuff the capsule full by scooping the powder up against the inside wall of the Tupperware.

Sometimes I notice different effects but I usually chalk it up to either my general stress level, or what I’ve eaten recently, though it could be different levels in the fruits themselves. It’s never so much that I alter my regiment though. The differences are slightly noticeable, nothing major. When I approach the 1g mark that’s when shit gets majorly noticeable.

I don't bother with grinding unless I'm making a batch of magic chocolate.
Maybe someone couldn't feel the 0.03, but not me. I feel them low and high and everywhere inbetween.

I have a coffee grinder specifically set aside for mushrooms. I grind them to as fine a powder as I can get them, stick them in 00 capsules for micro-doses or drop the powder directly in lemon juice with some sugar for tripping. I can't stand lemon Tek without a little sugar to help the medicine go down, but it kicks in so much faster it's worth it.
