Accidental mycelium growth on wet wood shavings.

So I have this tub in my fruiting chamber, I use soaked wood shavings in the bottom to keep up the humidity. When I was transferring the box into the FC about a week ago I knocked some substrate into the bottom and forgot about it , now I have this . I know it shouldn’t be there but part of me has grown attached, I forgot about this tub and next second this growth in the bottom

It's probably better to use perlite instead of wet wood. Perlite is inert and wet wood will start rotting and thriving with mold and bacteria.

I see thanks, since then I’ve removed the wood shavings and repurposed the tub as a mono
