Looking for recommendations on spiritual teachers readings

Bonjour
As this is my first post, I'll introduce myself briefly too, I'm a french film maker passionate about nature & macro videography (currently making a story with real insects).
I was looking for a few good reads from some specific spiritual "teachers" and after a while of searching online without success, I remembered the most obvious place I should have started looking for advice, here !
If anyone can recommend which books to read the teachings of the following people, preferably in a more authentic version (not the westernised conversions...), I'd be very thankful. If they exist in audiobooks I'm even more interested although I realise this second criteria completely comes into conflict with my first (not westernised) ! 😆
- The Buddha - Huang Po - Ramana Maharshi - Nisargadatta maharaj
Merci beaucoup

"My own suspicion was prompted by the "True dharma" only being preserved shortly' coinciding with Paul (in Cor 1:9 I think) practically establishing the practice of the priesthood profiting from donations given to the disciples back in Jerusalem (which I thought could be a misuse of Mark 6:8)" https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25873525#25873525
"It is more than two thousand five hundred years since the Buddha’s parinibbana (passing on) and there is a proliferation of teachings claiming to be the Buddha’s teaching (Dhamma). That being so, many people are confused and led astray. All this was foreseen by the Buddha.
Counterfeit Dhamma
In the Vinaya (Monastic Discipline) books and Anguttara Nikaya Sutta 8.51, the Buddha said the True Dhamma will last five hundred years. This means it will be pure and unadulterated during this period only." https://www.tbcm.org.my/will-the-real-buddha-dhamma-please-stand-up/

Hi Buster, I think I am seeing what you intend to mean but I'm not completely sure. Are you saying that it's impossible for westerners to have access to authentic Buddha teachings ?

When fabrications are inconsistent we are left to decide for ourself what is true. Conflicts with mainstream ideology can lead to discomfort which helps us determine the right path.
'The End of Suffering' can differ according to your belief; if you have one life the end of suffering is to knuckle-under, get a good job and go with the flow. If you believe you have karmic rewards in another life then suffering in this life is the prescription to that end.

Try The Way of Zen by Alan Watts. It is available as an audiobook. If you like that, I would consider looking into some of Watts' other titles. He was one of the great Western teachers of the Eastern spiritual traditions, but he is careful not to Westernize.
