I wonder?

Wonder what these coprinoids might grow up to be? There were tons! After the rain tonight and tomorrow, fingers crossed, I'm going to go back and check them out. If they are edible, I'm eatin em!

Well...ultimately they'll grow up to be black goo :laugh2:.
Pretty sure they're edible but I've never personally had them.
I found some myself this past weekend, noooooo idea of the species though.

Some sort of Coprinopsis. If you return to the spot in a few hours you might be able to see them alive one last time.

See that's what I was thinking too Doc, but when I looked into it there was like 3 or 4 that looked similar and then I got distracted by something else....

Yeah I hunted for hours today and that was all that I found. If I do make it back, and they aren't goo yet, I'll pick a few for the table

Looks like it could be, and if I eat em, I'll make sure this alcohol that's in me right now, is out first
