Not under any circumstances. I'm a big believer in nonviolence, and I take it very seriously. I don't believe in committing acts of violence against others. I think it's counter productive, that it harms the causes that the person using it is trying to support, and that it's morally wrong. It's arguable that there are some legitimate uses of violence, such as when its necessary to preserve or save human life, but in general I take a pretty hard line on it in terms of my own conduct in my own life.

If your rosebush is totally overrun with aphids, would you spray it with soapy water to drown them?

Honestly, if it was just me and no one was watching or judging me or anything, and it was just my own personal decision, then no, I wouldn't. I can't even stand killing ants when they invade my house. It's physically painful every time. When I was a kid, I used to think it'd get easier the more I did it, but it never did.
As a metaphor, I think there are better solutions to people who are damaging to society than using violence.

This is an innocence you managed to hold onto that I have lost.

If you are talking about the rosebush that was my great grandmother's that means the world to me, then yes. If it is any other rosebush, then no.

Yes its your Fatherland, inherited from your ancestors thats overrun with aphids sucking the life out of it, sapping its strength. Exterminate. Delouse. See how easy the rhetoric is shifted?
These posters hung all over Auschwitz. They hung in the undresssing rooms of the Krematoria.
"One Louse - Your Death!"

Here is a virtual reality tour of the facility, Krematorium II of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the most lethal death factory of the holocaust, that is the subject of this thread.
