So what next?

Ok so I am really new to mycology. First off I would really like to say thanks to everyone who uses this site. It has been an irreplaceable source of knowledge for me in this hobby. This is GT, grain (corn from WBS) to BRF Agar. I want suggestions on what to do next?!? I donβt really need to inoculate more grain ATM, I have plenty jars almost fully colonized. I suppose I need to transfer this to another plate but donβt really know what I am doing. 1: What is the preferred practice for a transfer? 2: Where do I need to gather Myc from on this specific plate? 3: How much? 4: Anything else I may need to know???
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions. Have an awesome day!

1. Flame sterilize scalpel, cool in receiving dish, take small transfer(size of a grain, smaller the better) from edge of mycelial growth, place in receiving dish. 2. I would take transfers from 6-9 o clock 3. Size of grain + or - 4. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hey..!
That's one nice looking dish..
This last week I made up 75 dishes and they're all colonize with rice size pieces of colonize agar. from a few dishes just like yours.
Each colonize dish will end up In a quart grain jar.
Out of the 75 dishes I'll toss probably 15 to 20 of the dishes.
I only use the picture perfect dishes.
I like working in volume with my dishes.
Everyone has their own methods that suits them and their expectations.
I have my routine that suits me.. I been doing the same thing year after year and sometime I'll stumble over a better way of doing things.
Be sure to flame your scalpel between each transfer.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do I need to take the Agar with the transfer? Or do I try and only transfer the Myc? If Iβm transferring the Agar with, do I place it Myc side up or Myc side down in the receiving dish?

Take an incision of the agar. Place the mycelium top side down on the center of the receiving dish.

Bod has some great resources regarding this, and some videos showing how he does his transfers agar to agar.
His comprehensive agar TEK, including what to do with them long term, or how to clone from a plate for example: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21922023
His cultivation videos (there are videos of him doing the transfers that you can watch): https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24161727
