Culturing engima tissue from dry fruit.
    #26727437 - 06/07/20 07:54 PM (3 years, 8 months ago)

I aquired a peice of dry Enigma fruit.

Does enigma produce spores?

I was thinking of crumbling a bit of the fruit onto a plate and trying to clean a peice of Myc.

I have done this with ape and had good success with just 1 transfer.

I just dont know alot about enigma, if it produces spores, or if you can actually "rejuvinate" a peice of the dry flesh??

any feed back is appreciated.

Thanks!  :mushdance:

People use dry tissue as long as its not too old i think. Ive heard doing a H202 or 10% bleach dip for a few seconds helps with knocking of contams for dry tissue. search to comfirm this though

Yea iv read people dunk in h202 . THat dosnt really appeal to me though.

I wonder if enigma is like ape where it produces spores but it dosnt eject them, so you have to swab.

I will prob just cumble a bit of tissue onto a plate and see what happens.

No enigma doesn’t have spores.

Have you seen pics of it? It’s basically a PE blob.
