Habitat: New York, grew in my lawn. No logs or anything nearby.
Gills: Brown gills, seem like they’re adnexed
Stem: Very skinny stem, pretty fragile. Light brown at the top and white at the base. Turned dark brown after it dries
Cap: 1-2 cm in diameter, convex. Light to dark brown, quickly turns darker as it dries
Spore print color: Couldn’t get a clear print, it dries up too quickly
Other: I’m thinking it’s Panaeolus foenisecii but I’m an amateur at identifying. Any help/info is appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I'm definitely with you on the foenisecii suspicion. I believe cinctilus is usually a little bigger and doesn't grow on lawns as commonly as foenisecii. I'm thinking those spores are probably a dark brownish, not jet black

I managed to get a spore print, could anyone help with figuring out what color it is? How easy is it to differentiate between dark brown and black prints, cause I’m not sure which of the two this is?

It can be tough, especially on white paper, and with no jet black print next to it to compare to. Sometimes the foenicesii prints aren't quite so dark and the brown is pretty easy to make out, but sometimes they're pretty damn dark. It can be easier to tell if printed on a black surface, which can make the brown pop, whereas a truly black print will tend to disappear against the black surface. Some people will make a mark next to it with a black sharpie to compare and see if it makes the brown pop.
That print does look pretty dark, but it still doesn't look quite jet black, at least not on my end. I could definitely be wrong, though. Maybe try to make a mark right next to it with a black sharpie
