Habitat:
Where does it grow? Near log, base/side - back of lawn

Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.

Gills: gills, light color cream/grey


Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

Stem: cream, sturdy, hollow

Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.

Cap: cream with brown in center, 1.5 inches in diameter

Your chicken coop mushroom appears to be a Coprinus sp.

The dead log one is too small to tell.

Thanks. So I assume this must be a very popular mushrooms right now as I am finding them in various locations (not just in yard but deep in the forest)...they are all just different stages?
