I think you can get similar but a more nutritious treat with miso, nutritional yeast, and tamari, but I used to fiend for bacon. It's a salt, sugar and fat bomb - most things with that combination are pretty tasty. You can find healthier alternatives.
The way animals are treated in industrial farms is so disgusting. I don't remember which flick I tried watching - a documentary. The lady was crying within 3 minutes, and we did not finish it. But, the point stands.

I have done my fair share of destroying the planet. Sorry about that. I still enjoy fishing, and do often slay what I catch. It has made the act deeper. I still enjoy sitting at the lake during sunset, though laying down the pleasure of fishing may be on the horizon.
It works both ways. Even if you don't care about the environment AT ALL, eating a variety of clean plants improves the body/mind. So be selfish, and consume more plants.
Very disturbing content. Feed your head and then watch (if you dare).

Factory farming is evil. I can't stick my head in the sand about where my food comes from anymore. I don't believe eating animals is inherently wrong, but I cannot support a single damn thing about industrialized meat and agriculture in general tbh.
I just don't really eat meat regularly anymore and use the money I save from that to buy high quality, local, ethically raised stuff from farmers for when I do eat it. I don't miss it or feel deprived.

I know most of the developed world is literally dependent upon factory farming, but it’s still some scary shit. Like a real life FermGully scenario - but one where the baddies win

For real.
I refuse to believe that this is the only way we can feed an omnivorous population, but I do think as a whole we have to stop eating so much meat. 300 million people eating it every single day for all three meals? That's fucking crazy and doesn't even take into account the rest of the world's consumption.

Yup, lab grown meat is super exciting. I really hope it's scalable and that people embrace it, for sure. That would be an amazing future.

Or lab grown krill. I think that would be perfect in a kroket type food

I think it's true that wide scale "corporate" agricultural is absolutely necessary at present. Hopefully the consumer dollar will tend towards more organic sustainable practices.
Factory farming (i presume you mean animals) is only necessary because of the consumer demand for cheap meat. Much more food and, more importantly, energy from food, can be amassed from plants versus meat per square foot.
Like most things, the dollar is what is driving this. People don't "need" meat in my opinion, to thrive. That's a choice.

Mars will solve the crisis - out of sight - out of mind. Half the planet dedicated to factory farming Cows & Chickens, and the other half for extracting & refining precious resources by any and all means.
After slaughter, Mars will launch the cows individually into space via a special space slingshot , and there will be an unbroken chain of floating naked cows from Mars all the way to a Earth 24/7 - 365 . An occasional cow will miss the protected and secret landing target upon entry to our atmosphere - causing people to question their reality for a brief moment, but for the most part propaganda will silence any inklings of what’s the deal with the meat supply.

I read this meme recently. I will butcher it as I attempt to echo the sentiment.
Those that don't believe in climate change are the same people who believe we can go to Mars and change the climate for our habitat.
Pretty simple and profound. This is it folks. The only game in town. I need to step it up.

lol I think it's safe to say Blind Ass is being facetious, but you have a good point.
Climate change is accelerating and will pose a very real threat to the lives of millions of people(millions more, as it already is devastating certain communities) long before we can even feasibly entertain the thought of terraforming mars.
