Back at again.. some advice please.
    #2672341 - 05/13/04 06:49 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

My dogs been away from the scene for a long time, all his equipment has been lost, and he don't know whats what with the vendors anymore, so some advice would be appreciated by him im sure.

He tells me rather then running out and setting up all the chambers again and buying more jars etc, he wishes to try out the presteriled ready to go myco-bags or the likes. Hes intrested in growing golden teachers because they are where he left off last time, would a myco-bag give acceptable results? By acceptable he means around an ounce from 3 of the small bags when its all said and done(dry). He wonders how has the contaimation been with these if done properly? He assumes pretty low... the thing that bothers him is them drying out, hes not intresting doing cashing at the present do to his living conditions(Not enough room in his dog house, i keep telling him il build him a bigger one:) He is a smart pup and came up with the idea of suspending them from a large tupperare container, making sure the bag is as open as can be, but the unused sections unfolded and taped along the top, then filling the bottom with some water and maybe a smidgen a bleach to keep the water healthy. He really doesn't expect much of this to make it into the bag just hoping to keep the bags current moisture inside.

He wonders how do you think this will do? Will the water + tuperware possibly decrease the chances of it drying out? Is it needed at all? Should some grr... that vaporise rock which name he cant recall be added? Perlite he thinks... He thanks you in advance and sends much love:)

PS: My dog and ralphster have good bussiness relations in the past, how is his bussiness fairing nowdays? And myco-bag(TM) Seems to be running a deal buy 2 get one free, this would seem the best place for him to order from , yes?

My dogs done PF before (well mmg's guide), several times actually... Its just his current living conditions don't allow him to have a cooler, they got him in trouble in the past, no doggy bones for some time after that. Hes got large tupperwares already in his place so its not an issue to do that, i suppose he could rig something up but money is not a huge issue. He would rather guarentee sterlity(if thats a word) and cut down on the shoping and prepairing time. And having the whole thing vanish once done is a bonus to.

If all goes well with this one he is considering getting a better rig together, his other was rather nice with built in lightning, humidty and temptature gauge, wire mesh, etc.
