Here's an email I got from them. They're closing the gap quicker than I expected, we actually have a chance here!

Plenty of folk in Oregon practice ‘psilocybin therapy’ without clinical doctors and such.
Why the need to have in offices with secretaries, and all the such?
Sure, exposure to those that may not go about it at home alone.
On flip positive side, it would open up more jobs to people in that field work, therapists. But, never found that line of work of any specialty. Found the therapist a blank wall where could paint anything. I can stare at blank wall anywhere.
Anyway. Yeah, cool. :/

And why need petition for things? Couldn’t one private investor pay the tax for state as to cover cost of to have seen operable? For instance, many of the signers to petition could all be low income tax paying citizens. Wouldn’t few high income tax paying citizen have more say as to influence of rest of society? As for they give more to the social structure state tax money trickles to.
I find this hilarious. For sitting in Eugene, I could easily see many thousands people signing this one off. But, how many does this get exposed to? I imagine so many people sitting of farms don’t know the darndest thing about this.
Anyway.
I bid more to Ketamine therapy. And we already have that. Has haves for years now.

And with all the pot shops open, and with the very much business get everyday, a petitioner our front of every shop should easily acquire those signature. I would think.

Also exposure to people that don't have access, much like medical cannabis has allowed a much wider group that otherwise wouldn't be able to find or grow it themselves to medicate. Sometimes it's beneficial for someone to talk to a therapist or have some kind of moderator, especially if they're inexperienced. I also agree that many therapists are "blank walls" but some (the good ones) aren't, and this re-emerging school of psychotropic therapy (including ketamine and MDMA) will / has already been creating a new breed of practitioners.

Idk if I got the dates a little wrong or not but I just got en email saying they're going through all their signatures to prepare for a final submission on the 30th and they're unsure at this time if they have enough or not but sound optimistic

So they tried an extension? Cool because for the 15th I wasnt too optimistic, gotta say. So they're unsure if the will have enough until the 30th so do you know how many the do have at the moment?

It hasn't been updated in a while, their website has said they need 2,520 more for a while now. They're doing the final count atm

I posted this into a group of friends and now they're talking about doing the same thing in my country, germany. Will never work, but might be a nice idea, just to raise some awareness and make people notice it a bit.

Well we do have a psilocybin study starting in Mannheim with Gerhard Gründer. Phase 2 depression I believe.
But what makes you say germany is progressive, I find it quite conservative tbh, like the decrim and legalization situations in the US like in Colorado etc are something that would seem impossible here.
And the thing is we dont have balotts here were people can vote on stuff like this so it would be a petition for legalization directly. I mean yeah, its a nice first step, and might be good from a media perspective.
