Requesting help to ID as Panaeolus cinctulus
    #26721637 - 06/05/20 11:05 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Habitat: In a grass field, NY after storm

Gills: Brown, gills not attached (I think)

Stem: about 6cm in length, .2cm in diameter, texture is soft, stem is hollow but firm, thin stem

Cap: 1.5cm in diameter, color is light brown some with a darker brown ' ring' around the bottom  portion, the texture is soft, slightly conical

Spore print color: Dark Brown

Bruising: Dark Brown

Other information: Smells like dirt or normal mushrooms that you would buy at a store to consume. I picked multiple within the same field radius, most of them were single, not growing together but were growing near each other (1-3 inches). Some are mature and some are very young. I'm also wondering if it's possible that any in the mix are a different species.
