Gday good people.
This looks pretty tasty but I don’t know if it’ll kill me. It’s a white coloured Amanita looking shroom. Found in a pine forest in Country Vic. Any help would be greatly appreciated ✌🏽

Man, I would never mess around with any Amanita, edible or not. It's not worth it. However, if Alan Rockefeller, cooked some up, this would be the only way I would ever trust eating them.

Hey thanks for your reply, I’ve done some research and yeah there seems to be a lot of controversy about even Amanita Muscaria.. do you say it’s not worth it because of the risk of sickness? Have you had a bad experience with them?

The deadliest mushrooms in the world are in the Amanita family of mushrooms, and lots of deadly Amanitas have the same characteristics as the edible ones in the family need I say more....

I was told to STAY AWAY from the white Amanitas in Aus.
The RED, Amanita Muscaria in Australia is said to be able to be consumed if boiled properly and the water is drained out containing those chemicals.
Furthermore, on the trip side of it. They are nothing like p.subs(magic mushies). I belive they're similar to or are a deliriant.
Please be careful out there and get everything identified by a TI before consuming anything. Ive heard of non locals being poisoned over this exact reason. They see mushies that look yummy or similar to something back home and it ends up being highly toxic.

Yeah loos like a destroying angel to me. Super deadly and poisonous, as well as the other ones related to it. Dont be the mushroom fatality. A. you die and B. it gives it a terrible name to gather and eat mushrooms.
