Everything looking good? Been in fruiting for like 6 days now. Have been giving it fresh air for like 4 hours yesterday and today. Lid totally off. Then lid upside down rest of day and night. Using the unmodded tub Tek.

IF you keep the lid totally off for some time, then you need to be sure the substrate doesnt dry. What bulk sub you using? coir/verm?

Yeah, I kept the lid off the last couple days for at least a few hours minimum. Because of the spots in the middle. The outside seems like it's wanting to dry out just a little bit more than the middle.
when I use the flashlight trick, it does still seem that there is glistening on the sides
I'm actually using a pre-pasterized mix from a source. It's Coco coir, vermiculite, and a bunch of other stuff they put in it. LOL

Can someone please tell me what they think is going on with this tub? still has not pinned and the corners are drying up, I keep misting them but they keep drying up and if I mist them too much, they get puddles so I have to sop it up

The whole thing looks kinda wet.
How old is it? There’s a few knots so it should pin in a few days.

It's like 9 days old. And yeah, the corners are getting dry and there isn't really a way to mist them without getting the middle wet also. LOL

When I did unmodified tubs and just wanted to mist the corners, I'd hold a piece of cardboard over the center and mist corners.

And yes, that sounds like a good idea with the cardboard. I just been doing one little mist in each corner a few times a day.

Be careful spraying mono tubs. Sitting water is a breeding ground for bacteria and contams alike. You want it to barely glisten like Trichomes on a beautiful bud. Not have any pools of water sittin on top. Honestly, misting the sides of the tub will do practically nothing but make it LOOK right to you. You want the tubs to not have any water draining down the sides regularly. Imagine how glasses look when you breathe on them. You want that kind of condensation on the INSIDE of the tub on the walls and if you’ve dialed your poly fill in correctly it’ll have a ring of dryness jusssst around the holes and a stream of dryness going from the holes that are on top all the way to the substrate. This is caused by the heat produced by the mushies internally.
If temps outside the tub are right they should be lower than temps internally and this causes that condensation and hopefully just right amount of moisture buildup on the surface.
Maybe next time adjust the moisture content of the Substrate to compensate for what you’re seeing now.
And I’m just seeing this is an unmodded mono tub so I’m unaware how you can maintain moisture content properly in an unmodded tub. Hopefully someone with experience with unmodded tubs can help. Just always found it easier to do the holes and fill with poly fill 🤷♂️ to each their own.
Also, when the fruits start coming in you can expect the walls to get much more wet than what you’d expect to be okay. 😊

yeah with the unmodded tub, I just flip the lid over and sometimes I just move the lid to the side a little bit. I just got 7 1/2 ounces after my second flush with penis envy.

Id love to see the pics. I just cant imagine that many dry from a single flush. Unless you have a huge tub you're growing it in.
It would impress the hell out of me! Not saying you're lying so please dont take it that way!

I did not get that off of one flush. LOL. My first flush was 4 ounces and 8 grams. 2nd flush was 3 ounces 13 grams. And all of the ounces are 29 grams a piece
I was actually using pre sterilized rye Berry bags from a source on here. It was 6 lb or rye berries. 66qt tub. And they are 100% cracker dry.

Looks good ya blobs are common with Ms syringes in substrate is not cased. an thoes yeilds are normal I usually get more on 3rd usually two.i recently had an Ms pe first flush 5oz that was not cased an didn't blob witch is rare.i cloned a fruit from first flush to see if I can isolate the non blowing genetics without using casing layer.not sure if it's possible but I'ma find out. Agar already in qt jars and shook at 20% to monotub soon.

Can y'all tell me what you think might be happening with this tub? I did this one the same as that other one that we are discussing in the thread. it's been fruiting conditions for about 3 weeks now or so. There are yellowish spots in all 4 corners and working its way to the middle. I've been misting consistently in those corners because of this. Like 3 times a day.
Bod monotub Tek. Flipped lip. What can I do to help this? It's Albino PE
If you look closely down towards the bottom middle, you can see a white blob with a closed cap on it

Dude you need to lay off the misting. There should just be a glistening on that Mycellium. You have large water droplets. Take paper towel and dry that off and just mist the sides.
The yellow is metabolites caused by stress whether due to temp fluctuations, low FAE, etc.
I had it and mine turned out fine. Only difference between you and I though is that I ran a UV-C light wand over mine to make sure if it were bacteria it would die, but I read that the metabolites are antibacterial anyhow:
http://www.bioline.org.br/pdf?md05029
Mine started in the corners too.
You are fine

The middle where you see all those beads is not from a misting. That is from when I put it into fruiting. I never touched the middle. I've only been misting the corners. Those beads have been there ever since the fruiting started
