Everything looking good? Been in fruiting for like 6 days now. Have been giving it fresh air for like 4 hours yesterday and today. Lid totally off. Then lid upside down rest of day and night. Using the unmodded tub Tek.

IF you keep the lid totally off for some time, then you need to be sure the substrate doesnt dry. What bulk sub you using? coir/verm?

Looks good.
Maybe a little on the wet side but that’s it.

Yeah, I kept the lid off the last couple days for at least a few hours minimum. Because of the spots in the middle. The outside seems like it's wanting to dry out just a little bit more than the middle.
when I use the flashlight trick, it does still seem that there is glistening on the sides
I'm actually using a pre-pasterized mix from a source. It's Coco coir, vermiculite, and a bunch of other stuff they put in it. LOL

Outside seems to dry up more than inside of tub. how do you guys missed just the outside of the tub without hitting the inside? Hahaa

Can someone please tell me what they think is going on with this tub? still has not pinned and the corners are drying up, I keep misting them but they keep drying up and if I mist them too much, they get puddles so I have to sop it up

The whole thing looks kinda wet.
How old is it? There’s a few knots so it should pin in a few days.

It's like 9 days old. And yeah, the corners are getting dry and there isn't really a way to mist them without getting the middle wet also. LOL

Well I'm very happy. So far after my second flush, I have 7 1/2 ounces completely cracker dry. Going for a third flush. Haha. Woohooo

When I did unmodified tubs and just wanted to mist the corners, I'd hold a piece of cardboard over the center and mist corners.

Yes they were Ms syringes. I've never even attempted to learn agar or anything like that. LOL. Maybe I need to do that to save some money. Haha.

And yes, that sounds like a good idea with the cardboard. I just been doing one little mist in each corner a few times a day.

Be careful spraying mono tubs. Sitting water is a breeding ground for bacteria and contams alike. You want it to barely glisten like Trichomes on a beautiful bud. Not have any pools of water sittin on top. Honestly, misting the sides of the tub will do practically nothing but make it LOOK right to you. You want the tubs to not have any water draining down the sides regularly. Imagine how glasses look when you breathe on them. You want that kind of condensation on the INSIDE of the tub on the walls and if you’ve dialed your poly fill in correctly it’ll have a ring of dryness jusssst around the holes and a stream of dryness going from the holes that are on top all the way to the substrate. This is caused by the heat produced by the mushies internally.
If temps outside the tub are right they should be lower than temps internally and this causes that condensation and hopefully just right amount of moisture buildup on the surface.
Maybe next time adjust the moisture content of the Substrate to compensate for what you’re seeing now.
And I’m just seeing this is an unmodded mono tub so I’m unaware how you can maintain moisture content properly in an unmodded tub. Hopefully someone with experience with unmodded tubs can help. Just always found it easier to do the holes and fill with poly fill 🤷♂️ to each their own.
Also, when the fruits start coming in you can expect the walls to get much more wet than what you’d expect to be okay. 😊

yeah with the unmodded tub, I just flip the lid over and sometimes I just move the lid to the side a little bit. I just got 7 1/2 ounces after my second flush with penis envy.

Doing a third flush now to see if I can get at least one or two ounces out of it. No contaminations in sight so far LOL
