I hope mine bloom. They are still small but growing fast. The way they lay on the ground seems sketchy. The root just doesn't look secure. Idk. Little poppy momma told me that it's normal. She could tell mine only get half days light. They doing good tho. Should I use any nutrients like that I have for my cannabis?

I wouldn't use any nutrients. They thrive in poor soil. I feel like the seeds, so very numerous, are similar to spores: each resulting plant will have a different personality. I like to over-plant the seed and wait to see what happens. Definitely normal for them to flop around. They grow super slow and the explode all at once. Plant early, plant often, plant a lot, then just wait.

These plants must not be wanting anything to get to their seeds or something!

Looks like my plants are all the same colors this season so far. I have been growing the same seeds for a few years now,and I think this is the dominant color now.

nice papavers. all the rest of my buds are rotting, so i'm ripping the casings off. the pods will still mature and produce some self pollinated seed (fine if its only for one or two generations).

Why are all your buds rotting? I thought mine were too, but the casing finally slipped off and revealed regular flowers.
My pods all went from pretty small to super big really fast too! all of my pods are covered in Opium too for some reason. I mean every year I get those little specks of opium all over my pods as we all do, but some of mine are totally brown with opium, it's crazy!
I'll have to shoot some pics soon!

Probably all the moisture we've been getting. Even some mature pods are rotting. The bugs are going crazy on them as well. some of them are completely covered in raw opium like you described.

Man, that sucks! I think the only reason why mine are doing so well right now, is because it wont rain here anymore, and it's been super dry.
I'm debating on cutting some pods early before they are finished. All my secondary and third bud sites are starting to turn yellow and die, and I think by deadheading the main pods, those other bud sites will flower too.
Decisions, Decisions.......

Some freshly harvested. Not many but still. All good. After farming I made a relaxing Tea.
You really are impatient aren't you? lol
First you chopped flower buds off a plant for tea before they even bloomed, and now you're chopping off pods before they're anywhere close to being ripe.
You'd get a lot more out of your plants if you were patient and actually waited for them to fully develop.
I mean they're your plants of course, you can do what ever you want with em'...but I cringe seeing plants not being used properly/to their fullest potential. It's like picking an orange from a tree when the orange is still green. Or pulling a carrot out of the ground before the root has developed into an actual "carrot".
And merely placing whole pods into a cup of water is not how tea is made...They should be pulverized/shredded up, pods sitting in a cup of water does nothing at all. That water is still totally clear lol, there's nothing in it. I wouldn't considering that to be a cup of tea, it's a cup of water with pods sitting in the water lol.
