Condensation is actually caused by a temperature difference, which is sometimes caused by temperature swings, but in case of bags, it's because myc produces heat when colonising. You can't reduce it and you shouldn't really need to. If your bags are too wet, make sure to dry your grains better.

Thank you I dry my grains well an I know myc produces heat an I read temp swing effect it. it's just Ben a struggle wen warm weather got here an wen condensation drips down sides it leaves water on the grains that makes it look uncolinized an I worried about bacteria taking over the few wet berries there not many wet berries but still conserning

I wasn’t able to control excess condensation in spawn bags until I got the right ratio of grain hydration. Maybe you are over hydrating.

Ya I probably am over hydratedim them I try to keep them on the dry side with the bags but I take em off to late some times an they are very swollen I never knew that would cause more condensation I just figure they bust kernels more wen to hydrated in the PC cycle

I run Milo at 25% hydration. 33lbs dry gives me 44lbs hydrated I don’t ever have condensation issues. The grains don’t get more hydrated in the PC cycle, they are as hydrated as they were when you put them in. I would suggest weighing grains dry, so you can determine hydration when you weigh them in the bags before PCing.

I use rye an I'm sorry I must have said that wrong I know they don't getore mosister from the PC I was saying since I let rye go to long sometimes an with the bags stacked on top of each other that sometimes I'd have cracked berries on bottom of my bags usually the bottom two I try to keep on dry side to prevent that but sometimes the berries come out a lil over hydrated than I'd like for bags I don't weight them with a scale I do it by qt jar of dry vs how much hydrated I'll get after soak and boil I do 40qts in 2 PC's 4 bags in each PC with tyvek sleeve so 16 dry qts for 40 hydrated qts
