I know Ill get slammed for wanting to go, it is what it is. I have went a few times to smaller protests with group of friends, rendering aid and being a body.. my friends want to link up with their friends who go to a major city to protest. Ive seen reports of police seriously acting insane at these protests. What have you guys experienced? I also read reports of people getting killed (not on the news.) I cant say if this is true but I saw some pictures.
I 100% am against the looters, dont you ever confuse the two (protesters vs piece of shit looters.) I feel something coming in the near future, and I cant say these protests help but I feel this “need” to help.. Im a pussy but I want to render aid and be a body.
What have you experienced at major cities? It sounds like a warzone and Im almost about to tell them Im not going. Like I said, ill have some folks give me shit for this but some will understand.

Don't think most people would slam you. I would never ask people to not do something they seriously believe in.
Just ask you to be safe and don't hurt the cause your fighting for.
Curious as well.

Like cookie said, I don't think anyone would slam you for peaceful protesting. In fact I think the vast majority here support that.
But yes the ones who are there to throw molotov cocktails, be violent, set things on fire and loot, raid & demolish businesses -- that's another story. The people who support such actions are dangerous and frankly unhinged individuals.
That said, I do understand that in theory perhaps, the more explosive the reaction is the more likely real change may be brought -- I get that thought process. But targeting random businesses that hurt people who had nothing to do with any of this? What kind of sense does that make? And if one really truly believes that destroying random buildings and businesses is the way to go, why not start with their own place then? I'd respect that a lot more. Then I would know they're really serious about their cause. But nah they wouldn't do that because it's theirs. It's a whole lot easier to wreck someone else's shit isn't it.
Look at this video of this woman in NY and her incredibly emotional speech to rioters that came through her neighborhood.
Absolutely riveting stuff.
Anyway OP you clearly have your head on straight and appear to be someone who would be a model protester. I'm pulling for you out there, and stay safe, my friend.

Just dress like an antifa member. People will know that you're castrated and won't hurt you.

Just like far right extremist nazis need to be eradicated, so does far left Antifa.
World would be a better place if they were both deleted.

Columbus checking in. It was chill for the most part for hours then went nuts within a minute. Chemical agents, flashbangs and batons. Got very brutal. Alot of fuck the polices were thrown around before that but not even so much as a ball of paper was thrown
